V.A. Dark Drum&Bass Convention: Assembly

Starting out as a underground Drum and Bass night series in Leipzig with focus on mainly deep, dark, yet experimental aspects of the genre and DNB-related music such as Halftime DNB, Footwork, Dark Jungle and so on, the Dark Drum&Bass Convention has become an institution in the local scene with regular events, hosting international names like Hydro, War, DLR, Silent Witness, Survey or Wintermute and at the same time pushing the local Drum and Bass Scene with the aim to connect and exchange. DDNBC is all about the scene as a family and connecting, and with our first Compilation Album DDNBC 001 – strictly featuring artists, that have already been playing at one of our past events in Leipzig – this concept might become even more evident. Producers from very different sub-genre backgrounds have donated one of their best and darkest tracks for this 8-track vinyl and 14-track digital compilation.
