A compilation of unreleased Persian 70s pop songs.

"Fasle Taze" compiles a selection of unreleased recordings by some of Iran's most famous recording artists from the golden era of Persian Pop music, back to the mid 70s. These songs miraculously survived the last 45 years hidden from the public and from the harsh persecution of the Islamic regime that took control over the country after the 1979 Revolution. In the years following the revolution, Pop and all western influenced music was banned -- records burnt, labels and studios shut down, musicians persecuted.

The songs presented here have been selected directly from studio master tapes that have been zealously kept since their recording, including songs by iconic figures such as Gougoush, Farhad, Ebi and Fereydun Fourughi amongst others. Unheard songs never released in any format -- until now. A new season begins.
