Item Description

Not content with hammering out releases on his Italo disco-influenced Bordello A Parigi imprint (some 40 12" singles have emerged since the tail end of 2011), Otto Kraanen has decided to launch a house-centric offshoot. The sound of this first Bitter Moon 12" is, of course, more obviously house-centric, but it still ripples with vintage-sounding synth sounds and woozy nu-disco atmospherics. Norwegian producer Skatebard kicks things off with the relentless handclaps, dreamy chords and "speak and spell" vocals of "Answer Search Someone", Wasted Gaze goes slow, chuggy and analogue-heavy on the tipsy "Temporary Chills". Uncanny Valley affiliate Credit 00 finishes things off with "Love Alone", a cheery fusion of early Chicago house drums and loving nu-disco synths.
