We open 2018 with a new Various SCL004 named "The Beat Bunch EP". We have the pleasure to have on the A side, after a very noticed ep on Sampling As An Art Records, Le Grand Détournement! "Devinette" and "Mexican Food" 2 solid tracks with a universe between Hip Hop/ Funk samples, Rhodes & big filters, followed by "About Jazz" a funk jazz influence track by the head of Sure Cuts, GZZ. On the B side, a new recruit! Jehan (Star Creature) delivers us a groovy moody sound with his "Cherimoya" and we close this ep with a faithful member of the Sure Cuts family, Keedo and "Don't Tell The Truth (About Our Love)" a serious House track, vocal loops, deepness background & slamming rhythmic.
