Veja Dekkan (Grafite / Pierre)

VEJA's Dekkan is the result of a joint venture with Vibram, the world leader in technical soles for hiking and trekking - together they developed a sole that combines ecological materials and Vibram technology. The Alveomesh upper is made from recycled PET bottles, same goes for the tech mesh lining as well as the laces. These VEJA trekking shoes are produced in a high standard International Labour Organization factory in Brazil. In addition, to make VEJA Dekkan look and feel different, the design smoothly blends minimalist aesthetics with innovative technologies.

VEJA Dekkan - features:

• upper: Alveomesh made from 100% recycled PET bottles with TPU & rubber overlays
• tech lining made from 100% recycled PET bottles (developed for enhanced abrasion-resistance and maximum comfort)
• V appliqués made from rubber and 22% rice waste
• laces & heel loop made from 100% recycled polyester
• padded insole made from 57% cane & 16 recycled PET bottles
• Vibram midsole includes 70% sugar cane
• Vibram outsole made includes 30% wild rubber from the Amazonian forest & 5% rice waste
