Introduced in 2011, the VEJA Esplar got its name from Brazilian NGO which brings technical support to the organic cotton farming families Veja works with in North Brazil since 2004. The VEJA Esplar SE sneakers are not your ordinary kicks, since upper plus lining are made from recycled polyester plus organic cotton, while the sole includes 19% Amazonian rubber, 28% rice waste as well as 12% recycled rubber. Plus, these VEJA shoes are produced in a high standard International Labour Organization factory in Brazil. In addition, to make VEJA Esplar look and feel different, the design smoothly blends minimalist aesthetics with innovative technologies.
