Atmospheric black metal deities Wolves In The Throne Room have announced that the live session they recorded at the BBC’s Maida Vale Studios will be released on vinyl via Southern Lord next month.

The session was recorded on October 21st, 2011, a month after the band had released their incredible fourth full length ‘Celestial Lineage’, and consists of two live tracks from that record (namely ‘Prayer of Transformation’ and ‘Thuja Magus Imperium’). Maida Vale Studios has played host to an overwhelming number of great bands over the years (such as Napalm Death, Carcass, The Fall, and more recently, Baroness) and it’s pleasing to be able to add Wolves In The Throne Room to this ever growing list.
