Founded by Marok in 1995, Lodown is a highly influential, English-written magazine out of Berlin dedicated to the visual aspects of skateboarding, pop culture, movies, literature, graffiti and street art. Lodown also gained several awards, thanks to the graphic and photographer skills of the staff. In 1999, Lodown introduced the book “Graphic Engineering”, followed by the sequel “Schizophrenic!” just one year later. Since 2006, Lodown regularly hired well-known graphic artists such as Kaws, Futura 2000, Eric Haze, Matt Irving, Mirko Borsche, Don Pendleton, Åbäke, Manuel Bürger or Marc Brandenburg for exclusive content.
