Release:2015 / EU – Reissue
Genre:Rock / Indie
The prolific Russian/Ukrainian post rock/doom outfit returns with their brilliant eighth album in only eight year's time! "Sorni Nai" - the band's most mature work to date - is a concept album that references and expands upon territory explored in their previous work ("Pirut"), showcasing a single 52-minute long track, twisting through lush string orchestrations into sinister and operatic doom metal. The album's concept focuses on the infamous Djatlov Pass Incident. In 1959, nine Soviet hikers went on a trip to reach Mt. Ortorten in the Ural Mountains. None of the hikers were seen alive again. Their bodies were found a mile from their campsite, missing their skis, shoes, and coats while braving -30°C weather. Two of them had fractured skulls, two had major chest fractures, and one was missing her tongue. Investigators listed the cause of death as "a compelling natural force," and the case was immediately closed. After a quickly sold out first pressing, this is an LP re-release in heavyweight single-pocket jacket, printed on the reverse side of the board (rough coated) with record on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl.

Release:2013 / EU – Reissue
Genre:Rock / Indie
The bizarre, cult, underground post-metal band Kauan returns to their funeral doom roots, with their fifth album, entitled "Pirut". The band abandoned its metal stylings after its first album, in search of a more peaceful, post-rock sound. "Pirut" immediately strikes an angry chord, beginning a single-track, 40-minute, funeral doom "opera", that weaves in and out of destruction and beauty, separated into eight chapters. This is a welcome return to the band's origins that its cult following has been waiting for. This is the first time KAUAN appears as a full band, previously they were a two-person studio project. As well, the band suffered an experience while mixing the album, in their hometown of Chelyabinsk, Russia. Meteorites started crashing down from the sky and destroying the area. The artwork for the album was created to mirror this experience. After a quickly sold out first pressing in 2013, this is an LP re-release in heavyweifaght single-pocket jacket, printed on the reverse side of the board (rough coated) with record on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl.

Release:2014 / EU – Original
Genre:Rock / Indie
Through Kauan's growth and experimentation, its sound and production has vastly improved since its humble beginnings as a band of teenagers in remote Chelyabinsk, Russia. It was decided while in between labels to privately crowdfund the professional recording of a collection of re-arranged tracks from the band's early years. The release was intended only for a core group of 53 individuals, but the demand for the release was too high. It is now being presented in a limited run of high-quality digipack editions with official artwork.
