Le Coq Sportif Sneakers Men

Founded in 1882 by Emile Camuset, Le Coq Sportif is a well-known brand that created sports jerseys in its early years. When Emile Camuset started making these jersey in his small workshop, he probably never dreamed that, 130 years later, Le Coq Sportif would become one of the world’s most prestigious brands. By 1920, Le Coq Sportif had become the official supplier to France’s professional soccer, rugby, basketball and track and field associations. There’s a couple of cornerstones in the impressive history of LCS: In 1951, Le Coq Sportif becomes the official supplier of cycling jerseys for the Tour de France. Seven years later, the French soccer team, dressed in Le Coq Sportif, marks its best finish in a World Cup to date when it comes in third. In 1975, Le Coq Sportif outfitted Arthur Ashe, who beat fellow American Jimmy Connors to become the first black tennis player to win Wimbledon. Seven years later, Italy won its third World Cup clad in Coq Sportif blue. In 1983, French tennis genius Yannick Noah, backed by Coq Sportif, takes the French Open crown at Roland Garros stadium. And the story goes on and on. 130 years of experience gives Le Coq Sportif an outstanding place in the market. From the start LCS created products primarily for sportsmen. This inspired ‘em, but it also challenged ‘em. Meeting those challenges remains at the heart of their product philosophy today. That’s what sets Le Coq Sportif apart, and has since the brand’s beginnings. The products have a simple, almost timeless quality. It’s a fundamental part of the brand’s heritage. It makes them who they are.
