Six years later, Lee launched zip technology and designed the world’s first ever zip fly jeans. In 1944, the signature Lazy S back pocket stitching was introduced; both rear pockets showcased the shape of the ‘Long Horn’ comics. Ten years later everybody wanted to sport Lee denim pants, since James Dean wore ‘em in „Giant“, plus the y were part of Marlon Brando’s outfit in „The Wild One“. It took another 28 years until Lee cold-shouldered the workwear business and started catering into fashion cycled with fresh acid stone finished. Today, Lee is is one of the few denim companies that looks back on a long, pioneering history, whil they still deliver top notch denim goods such as the amazing 101 jeans, vintage casual tops as well as other denim highlights.
