Five artists. Five tracks. Four countries. One 12’’. Live Ones is back with a belting new EP featuring five deep and sultry cuts.
Windows (formally DJ Windows XP) kicks things off with their familiar dusty and melancholic drive, pulling all the right heart strings on ‘I Wanted To Share My Feelings But You Kept Talking’. Label owner Lorca’s ‘Sirens’ follows this on a similar, ravey vibe with stomping kicks, breaks, breast beating string samples and bleeps. The flip side sees the talented and experienced Intr0beatz in amazing form utilizing rich, orchestral strings and his signature house grooves to produce the infectious ‘For The Love’.
Keith Lorraine (also known as Baby Rollen) of London is up next with the emotionally rich ‘Wild Flower’. The track builds nicely into the final cut ‘Dreams’ from Canada’s Mathew Ferness. Here we see the artist at his best, using looping vocals and piano stabs to great effect, completing an EP that will work just as well in your headphones as it will on the dancefloor. We’re in it For The Love.

Amsterdam-based duo DJ Windows XP provide the next EP for Live Ones, serving up apple infused, sample driven rhythms that'll pop cherries you never knew you had.
The pair have previously offered provoking selections on DJ Haus' imprint E-Beamz and the Amsterdam based Who's Susan to high acclaim.
The biggest contradiction is that none of their music is actually produced on a Windows computer - and quite rightly so.
What will come next from the duo depends entirely on whether they finally decide to perform that software update.
