The HHV x BETONAT Record Player is a 1:1 replica of the Technics MK2 made of concrete with a thinner base so that the product can be mounted on the wall as a work of art.

For our 20th anniversary, in addition to various functional things, we have also dedicated ourselves to a project that is in the field of art. It's about the collaboration of HHV with Max Schwarck, a Berlin-based graphic designer who runs his own studio keny. As a balance to his creative work on the screen, Max founded BETONAT in 2020, so that the feeling of creating something in honest manual labor is not lost.

What connects HHV with BETONAT is first and foremost the fact that our roots are located in hip hop. For BETONAT, it's the visual aspect of hip hop culture with graffiti, while for us at HHV, it all started with beats and rhymes. So it wasn't difficult to find a project that excites both of us: a replica of the legendary Technics turntable SL-1210 MK2.

With the HHV x BETONAT Record Player, Max from BETONAT has created a concrete replica of the MK2 that comes around the corner with many lovingly crafted details borrowed from the classic turntable - not to mention the subtle HHV x BETONAT branding details.

And since you don't just put art objects on a sideboard, Max provided the HHV x BETONAT Record Player with a thinner base so that it can be easily mounted on the wall.

The HHV x BETONAT Record Player comes securely packaged in a wooden box with appropriate co-branding.
