MoEa is a Paris-based company that represents the new generation of sneakers. MoEa pioneered the use organic materials from fruits and plants to create low-carbon and recyclable vegan sneakers made from fruits and plants.

Sustainable production in Europe – the MoEa way to produce clean footwear

MoEa is committed to making sneakers that are vegan, low carbon, and also locally made. To do this, MoEa uses only vegan and clean materials sourced from Europe; to complete the cycle, MoEa also works with certified factories in Portugal and rely on the latest innovations in the organic materials industry.

Fashion meets science

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies commissioned by MoEa show that the bio-materials used in the vegan sneakers emit on average 89% less carbon than conventional leather. For example, the MoEa GEN1 emits 4 kg of CO2, which is only approximately one-fifth of a conventional sneaker.

MoEa is WWF partner for forest restoration

MoEa sneakers not only look good, their kicks also do good for the environment. Another reason is that MoEa donates 1% of sales to the fight against deforestation. Thus, MoEa contributes to the WWF’s reforestation programs. Since 2021, MoEa has been a proud member of the WWF Start-Up Club – to which only three hand-picked brands are admitted each year.
