Release:2019 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Golden Bug drops four slabs of illuminati science on Multi Culti. Designed to illicit rapid brain-change on the downtempo dance floor, this is Chug-lorica of the highest order of pyramid power, an advanced exploration of occult psychedelia, alternate linguistic realities, cosmic triggers to unlock deeper meanings and higher truths. ‘Cosmic Trigger’ features a speech about LSD de-fragmentation, the title referencing Robert Anton Wilson’s vision of mental illumination. ‘Tamba’ reprograms the linguistic cortex, featuring the vocal talents and lyrical codex of Viktoria Wehrmeister. While ‘Yama’ deepens the proceedings to the point where one questions the very foundations of life.
If this all sounds too psychically challenging for a peak time party DJ set, take comfort in the supremely playable acid antics of the ever reliable, Marc Piñol. Subdued ecstatic house, this remix perfectly reflects those rare moments of MDMA-bliss where one’s heart is FULLY open while one’s dignity remains intact. Clearly a producer you can count on when you get high and still want to dance.
Ordained drum-machine funk-monk Krikor smashes Yama into a post-Anthropocene Jamaican dancehall where cyber-dreadlocks connect mankind to ORICOM, the Gaian matrix. To be featured in the rave scene in the upcoming MATRIX feature film starring Keanu Reeves and Richie Hawtin as The AI.
If that package couldn’t sell itself, then the splendid psychedelic frame of artwork that Ventral is Golden created will surely catch eyes and lure in listeners with the inclination to re-align and reach their highest potential as listeners in absolute union with music.

Dreems returns with his second full-length album, a languid journey through ambient dimensions. Following up his self-titled debut from 2014, these two LPs will stand together as test of time, a snapshot of the atmosphere that surrounded him throughout the decade.
As a versatile club-DJ with a respected catalog of mixed-tempo club remixes, and as half of the ‘Krautback’ / elementally Australian industrial act ‘Die Orangen,’ Dreems merely hints at his musical identity as an album artist, an expansive space in which he truly does soar with the spirit of a true artist, plumbing the depths of his emotional being, achieving catharsis in the shimmering pleasure of sound.
Diamond Bay’s 12 tracks surprise and reward the listener with the great gift of capturing your attention without ever attempting to hijack it. In a world gripped by the algorithmic nightmare of millennial whoops and material hooks, Dreems has charted a course for something altogether different - a peaceful kind of sonic painting. These are pastoral, passing vignettes. They highlight our awareness without forcefully directing our thoughts, except on the vocal pieces which reinforce the contemplative themes, adding not only specificity, but bringing a real sense of intimacy to the record.

“Heroes don’t care what’s cool. Heroes care ‘bout what’sright. And that’s what makes them so fucking cool.” Joseph Campbell Jr.
It can now be revealed. Anonymous internet supergroup Drugface is going public, unmasking themselves as Multi Culti audiovisionary Thomas Von Party and Montreal cult legend John Shape, who absorbed the life rights to the Beaver Sheppard Story in an online game of Russian Roulette. If you’re reading this, the Von Party element probably makes so much sense that you’ll never forgive yourself for not realizing it sooner. The vibes, the production; it was there the whole time. Eagleeared listeners may have ID’d Shape from his Ricardo Villalobos-produced remix pack on Sei Es Drum, or as the singer in German instrumental band Brandt Brauer Frick. Those who guessed both members are now on some kind of list.
“In the Clouds” is the latest single from the secretly prolific duo, a synaesthetic window into a realm where everything tastes like data and everything sounds like mushrooms. Bside “On the Prowl” is a collaboration with Multi Culti vitamin-shaman Dreems, with the results entrusted to Finnish synth-lord Jori Hulkkonen to ensure everything holds up 9,000 years from now.
For the remixes, Simple Symmetry pull you through a wormhole to the sunny beaches of Moscow, The Beat Escape add massive doses of class and elegance. We tested these descriptions on 50 tastemaker chimps, and all 50 were still at least “somewhat jazzed” about hearing the tracks anyway.
And of course it goes without saying that Multi Culti is proud to present this.

Multi Culti is honoured to reissue this 1996 classic by Ghanian highlife legend Gyedu Blay Ambolley, adding amazing remixes by Red Axes and Johnny Aux, as well as an in-house edit by Dreems & Thomas Von Party.
A major force in Afro-funk since the early 1970s, Gyedu Blay Ambolley is considered the godfather of hiplife, transforming the highlife genre by adding elements of hip-hop, funk and jazz. The opportunity to reissue the amazing and influential "Simi Rapp" is one of the clear high points of the label's trajectory thus far.
The reissue package is bolstered by an ecstatic rework by Israeli gurus Red Axes, an early-morning anthem from master remixer Johnny Aux, and a laid-back house edit from Multi Culti Executive Shamans Dreems and Thomas Von Party.

In our most private moments, we have often thought of Multi Culti as an educational enterprise: as you listen to our music and stare at our artwork, you are absorbing information in a way that might conceivably be defined as "learning."
Our latest release brings this theoretically reasonable fantasy one step closer to fruition, as we welcome Hamburg-based musician and composer Andi Otto (Ph.D) to our roster of artists.
A deep listening experience focused on repetition and timbre, Bow Wave was made using rare and unique instruments such as a special sensor bow for cello (and other string instruments) known as the "Fello," which Otto developed during his residencies at the STEIM research centre in Amsterdam.
The album also features vocals from award-winning Indian playback singer, actor, and TV anchor M.D. Pallavi, a frequent Otto collaborator, recorded while the two were touring Japan.
The digital edition of Bow Wave includes 10 tracks, while the six-track vinyl adds remixes by Ecuadorian folklorica wizard Nicola Cruz and Parisian "adult disco" purveyor Golden Bug, both of which will be released separately in a digital remix pack alongside reworks from Brazil's Ricardo Vincenzo and Norway's Center of the Universe.

Multi Culti strip down and sling low with this ep of restrained early-morning house from UK's Jamie Paton. One half of Cage & Aviary, the London-based producer follows up releases on Emotional Especial and Holga Nord with virtuosic depth.
It may be the power of suggestion, but Squeeze the Prime Time sounds like a well-worn night-life wayfarer wringing their very last brain cells for more serotonin on the dance-floor. On 'Syrens' especially, there is a sense of subdued, spectral ecstasy. Squelchy, spacey, bumpy, this is a masterful soundtrack to synapses firing to the world's most cherished tryptamine.
Multi Culti production duo Dreems & Thomas Von Party add a 'Self-Help' remix, an unashamed attempt to lend 75% more hippy to the package, taking holotropic breath-work to the masses as only a pair of gurus can do.

Nicola Cruz polishes off a trippy tryptic of cult releases for Multi Culti with ESPÌRITU.

Folklorica's chosen lord, Nicola Cruz has shepherded the masses from the church of high tempos and brought trance-formed revellers down to earth with his fusion of crisp electronics and organic, indigenous vibrations. Miraculously, he has brought this style of music to Europe's major big room clubs and huge festival stages worldwide, pleasing crowds in the habit of being hypnotized by homogenous house music.

Espìritu de Protección opens as a revelation, two seconds into the groove and you're deep in the tribe. You're dancing, everybody's dancing, things dub out, melt down, and a haunting vocal wisps through the room, tickling the crowd from their tailbones to their pineal glands. Just as you recover from that spell, in fly the flutes. Every yogi in the vicinity sways into the front and all of a sudden, you KNOW you're getting laid tonight. That's the kind of power we're dealing with: CRUZ CONTROL.

It's so potent we had to carefully extract the Flute-A-Pella and serve it up separately to use as a cult DJ tool.

On the flip side, not one but two slamming remixes of Tzantza from Disco Halal-defekting Russian duo: Simple Symmetry. Vinyl lovers rejoice in the supreme exclusivity on the digitally unavailable Folklorica Dub, a supreme tranceformational party tool with enough flute to elevate the mind of the many.

Ecuador's rising son, Nicola Cruz, returns to Multi Culti with Cantos de Vision, a truly visionary EP backed by remixes from Jaja, Argentinian Uji, and Multi Culti's own Thomas Von Party.

One of the core artists in Multi Culti's diverse catalog of globally-inspired dance music, Nicola Cruz is deservedly becoming the poster-boy for a new wave of producers that fuse indigenous sounds with internationally professional production, creating something entirely new, sonically.

It's a genre that Multi Culti ambassadors Dreems & Thomas Von Party refer to as 'Folklorica,' a psychedelic replanting of folkloric roots, and nowhere is it more skilfully executed than on Nicola's tracks.

After a few years spent in quiet reflection during his introduction to the wonders of fatherhood, In Relationen emerges as both a refined and mature comeback, as well as a distinct new
beginning for the long-time Berlin producer.

The pensive character, delicate emotional undertones, and careful lines drawn with precise tension across restrained arrangements may sound familiar to fans of his earlier work, but there is now a greater sense of calm, an openness that rewards
listeners both on and off the dance-floor.

As contemplative as it may be, In Relationen still rocks, particularly on the title track, where a frontal psychedelic guitar line gently weeps across a haunting, hypnotic field of rhythm.

The krautrock influence runs deep, not in a superficial way but in the depths of the music: atop the rolling, pastoral grooves, the vibe of a bright German mind reorganizing itself to a new framework, re-aligning to a fresh phase of life, finding deeper communion with the world through the discovered balance of inner peace.

Red Axes's massive 'Waiting For a Surprise' gets new remixes from heavy hitters Audion, Moscoman, Manfredas and Multi Culti label-man Thomas Von Party. The jewel in the crown of Israel's underground music scene, Red Axes have produced a steady stream of hits on labels like Permanent Vacation, I'm A Cliché, Crosstown Rebels, and the freaky all-inclusive Multi Culti where they dropped what became, somewhat surprisingly, their biggest hit to date with Waiting For a Surprise. The dark, stripped down disco bomb had one of the most memorable hooks of the year in singer Abrao's staccato chorus, a late night voodoo incantation that was always begging to be remixed.

The globally-minded, non-tempo-specific label ventures further into big-room techno territory than ever before, calling on resurrected techno god Audion, hot off the release of his incredible album Alpha. He delivers a jumbo, driving, trancey-dance bomb onto techno turf and raises the hands higher in the air than previously thought possible. Next up, fellow Tel Avivian Moscoman directs his hot hands to his guitar, mellowing things slightly, stretching out the hooks and adding layers of ambulant percussion to his signature middle eastern flair. The man you love to hate to love breaks his bread and shares it with us all.

Lithuanian bandit and current Multi Culti tour poster boy Manfredas (who delayed the package by 3 months + some) weighs in with an incredibly dope, hook-filled revision. Worth the wait for his weight in cult gold. Finally, label chef Thomas Von Party joins forces with the Axes on a hybrid electro-psych-surf adventure you can get lost in. The freaky force is felt in this chuggy bro-down with the trans-continental high-five resonating across the sunset.
