Cai Bojsen-Møller co-founded the original Multiplex imprint and released his debut solo album A Bit of Something on the label in 1996. Cai is an accomplished drummer and his acoustic talents shine through in his electronic work and 909 skills. Out of the circuit for fifteen years, he now returns in stunning form!
The idea behind "The Spirit of Man and Machine" evolved around the point where organic elements meet and elevate the programmed part of the music. Because of the technology available to everyone today, much music is completely quantized, but to make things flawless, risks the loss of feeling to digital perfection. Emerging from the Danish rock scene in the early 80's, correctness was nothing to strive for. With the formula of analog synths through an analog mixer and the drums and sequences recorded live, with a mindset for the right vibe, Cai's new tracks ties in well with his 1990's productions.
It starts with a melancholy chord on "Phalanx" - this deep track sets the mood with a nudge to the early sci-fi techno of Detroit. "Stille Storm" (Danish for "Quiet Storm") has been treated to an edit by Steen Kong, accentuating the hypnotic groove for the early hours. "Oshi Dashi", a Sumo term for the push-out technique, is a beautiful, melodic, minimalistic techno track. Finally the intense, cinematic compositions of "Whirling" end the EP in style.

pH 1 released his "Technicolor Vision" cassette album on Help Recordings in 2016, but is also part of the group Hi Mount along with Central and DJ Sports. The three have released together on Regelbau. The name pH 1 bear a less than subtle reference to the sound of acid, and his productions definitely reflects early UK house and break beat with elements of acid jazz. He first crossed paths with Multiplex while performing a live set in his hometown before Steen Kong was to DJ. The two quickly connected and we
are happy to welcome pH 1 to the Multiplex family.
Born and raised in Aarhus, Denmark but often traveling to UK where he also spent his teens. He started playing guitar at age eight, but once he'd felt wax on a 1210, saved up for a pair of Technics.
His Lucid EP opens with "Time of Day" a beautiful house production, "Infinite Pressure" presents a deep, cinematic journey, while "Bonafide Platter" is a playful, acidic tune. Titonton Duvanté delivered the amazing Futurity EP for Multiplex in 1998 with four funky acid tracks, the perfect candidate to add to pH 1's universe. Titonton has remixed "Make Your Reality" on the B-side and the original mix of that track gets the final word of the EP.

The Copenhagen duo wilma (lower case w) aka. Jeppe Willumsen & Dan Madsen formed in 2014 and soon got off to a hectic start. Despite their varied backgrounds the two quickly bonded around their common love of early dance music. The resulting output was picked up by then Panorama Bar resident Prosumer. He used their tune Fabio on his fabric 79 mix CD and released a four track EP with wilma on his new, but unfortunately short lived, Potion imprint. Fast forward a few years and the duo behind the Multiplex reboot have just gotten a distribution deal, when they receive a couple of tracks from wilma – It was love at first listen.

Tivoli Trax started as a Multiplex series paying tribute to local artists connected to Kong’s Mantra night club, while it was based in Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens. The first 1996 EP was followed in ’97 by Vol. 2 and finally by a 12 track CD compilation in ’98. In 2018 we are bringing back this iconic tribute to amazing Copenhagen based producers with Tivoli Trax vol. 3!
To bridge the twenty years gap, the first track is an original Hüebsch Originators production from ’98. This deep techno track was released on the Tivoli Trax CD, and we are delighted to finally be able to present it on wax. The duo also released the Evanouir EP on Multiplex in ’97. Secondly we have the beautiful “Bodies” by Vassdrag, a Norwegian word for a river system and the Multiplex alias of a well-known Copenhagen producer, who’s been releasing on a quintessential techno imprint since 2010.
B From E aka. Frej Levin, a rising star on the Danish scene and known for releases on Copenhagen Underground Posse and Tartelet Records, delivers classic, atmospheric, deep house in the form of “No Memory”. The last track is “Nightwave” by Dennis Uprock, better known as dub-techno producer Resoe of Baum Records, Echocord and Pattern Repeat. A prolific producer of multiple genres. He has used his “Uprock” moniker when playing house music since the mid-90s.

THE formidable 90s Danish Techno label awakens! Back and not only in business...meaning business. Two great tracks, re-flipped in fine style. Here we go... TIP!
After 20 years - Multiplex is finally back! The record label originally put out 26 vinyl releases and 6 CD albums between 1995 and „98. Behind the label reboot is the original founder Steen „Kong‟ Mogensen and fellow Copenhagen DJ and promoter Daniel Kaarill.
The first of a string of new releases is a reissue with a twist. The two track EP picks up where we left off in 1998, with catalogue number MUPL 026 and a couple of much sort after tracks. Both have been
pulled from the original DAT tapes and been given a fresh workout by the artists.
First up we have Mark Broom‟s iconic 1997 remix of the Morgan Geist track “Pushed” from the EP of the same name. This is a hypnotic, deep techno track and for many a favorite in those melancholic moments. Muzik magazine praised it as a ‟97 essential.
On the flip side is “Push Me” which Cai Bojsen-Møller and Kong sent out as the fourth Multiplex on blue vinyl in 1995. They were originally asked to do a remix of Danish jazz singer Caroline Henderson, but
when she didn‟t like her contribution being cut down to two words, they went ahead and released it under the moniker CH Connection.
