Mystery Ranch Bags Men
Established in 2000 by Dana Gleason and Renee Sippel-Baker, Mystery Ranch is a brand specialized in designing high-end packs for travelling, alpine sports as well as everyday use. Dana Gleason and Renee Sippel-Baker first joined forces back in 1978, when both worked for Kletterwerks. In 1985, the duo launched the groundbreaking company Dana Design to introduce the revolutionary Dana ArcFlex frame that offered improved weight distribution to avoid symptoms of fatigue. When Dana Gleason and Renee Sippel-Baker were looking for a new challenge, they started Mystery Ranch to set new standards in terms of functionality, comfort and quality of outdoor packs. The first Mystery Ranch item was a hip sack that Dana built for her daughter Alice which became Mystery Ranch’s patented lumbar wrap, and the designs for the NICE frame and SATL would soon follow. In 2004, Mystery Ranch was approached by the Navy SEALs for custom backpacks – it was the beginning of a relationship with the military that would significantly alter its business model and design strategy. The feedback from the military and Special Forces users provided a better understanding of what clients wanted, so Mystery Ranch was able to synchronize fabrics, features and shapes with the customers’ needs.
