Release:2018 / UK – Original

The third release on Mr Beatnick's Mythstery imprint brings Toronto's Nautiluss into the fold, under his newest alias, Pyramid Lake. "Palms On Fire" is a fuzzy, percussive collab with LA's Sage Caswell, whilst "Ital Vital" dials in the cruise control for a rolling, spaced-out deep house groove. On the flip, Drum Poet regular Quarion serves up one of his signature panorama bar ready remixes for "Cease and Desist", whilst label boss Mr Beatnick turns "Palms On Fire" into a vintage electro/acid workout.

Mr Beatnick's brand new cosmic imprint Mythstery Records proudly presents its debut release! Breakplus is a an old friend and collaborator of Mr Beatnick - the pair released their first hip-hop record "The Time Machine" way back in 2005, under the moniker "Thieves Of Time". "Instant Bull" is Breakplus's celebration of Anatolian Rock history, which marries funky Turkish source material with deft MPC sampling skills. 7 tracks long, it's partly a beat-tape, partly a mini-album - balancing mellow grooves for home listening with a trio of left-side club cuts - from heady psych-rock jams to Turkish disco. The record features Flying Lotus collaborator Ahu Kelesoglu, and comes in a SETI-referencing custom sleeve designed by cult Hyperdub artist Optigram. Limited to 300 copies - one for the old school beat diggers, and fans of oddball disco edits.
