Paper Recording are back on vinyl with a fantastic debut 12" from Italian duo Soundersons, who have come up through theunderground Bologna house scene. Can't Get Enough is a deep electro-funk slice of nu disco with Diana G on vocals. It's got 80s synths and squelches, vocal hooks a plenty, clonking percussion, Rhodes and that Metro Area / Tom Tom Club vibe. Parts I and II are split in to vocal and instrumental over one side on continuous play for maximum dance floor action. On the flip, the mighty DJ Spinna brings his A game with a deep NYC take that is underground house at it's best. He uses synths, arps and the vocal to slowly build the remix that hits it's peak at the end. Finally Education finished things off with a raw disco cut up that hits the floor running and keeps going full pelt. One for the dancers.

Flash Atkins hits hard with the second 12" to be taken from his critically acclaimed "The Life and Times" album on Paper Recordings. This time he pulls in three of the world's best producers of underground future disco and all of them step up the the plate to score a bullseye with their first throw.First up The Emperor Machine has taken Summer of Love to analogue heaven with arps, heavily treated vocals, electro bass and wacked out beats. The track's stripped back dynamics keep changing as it's deep drug chug rocks out for over 10 sublime proto-disco minutes.Man of the moment Fila Brazilia's Steve Cobby is enjoying a renaissance after two albums that have ruled 2014 / 15. On Forbidden Flesh he takes Crazy P's Danielle Moore's vocals and lays them over a soulful techy track that will fit any after dark occasion with devastating results. And it's got loads of cowbell. After the veterans it's time for a young gun to nail his colours to the mast. Iceland's B.G.Baarregaard has been one to watch and his blend of good time disco has been lining him up as Todd Terje's heir apparent. This remix is peak-time nu-disco that wears it's musicality lightly and sacrifices nothing for sheer playability.Overall, a 12" that takes the Flash Atkins originals and breathes new life in to them for three cuts that will smash anything they are thrown at.

Our dance floor shattering collection returns once again as Trash The Wax # 3 lands & leaves a trail of raised hands along the way.The vinyl taster picks four of the best from the latest compilation and kicks things off with a collaboration between our very own boy wonder Chris Massey and Homoelectric's Will Tramp to deliver Red Room Disco. It's a full on sweat box banger with big wobbly bass, diva style vocals and drops that gives a tip of the hat to the aforementioned Manchester club night for twisted sleazy people.Former 2020 Soundsystem chap Julian Sanza turns in The French Mistake which sounds a bit more Italian than its Parisian name. With a solid low end stomp partnered by snappy percussion, hypnotic synth stabs & soaring strings, this is one to file under perfect mood setter. On the flip, Tromso's Kohib drops Talk To Me that sounds like the bastard lovechild from Optimo and Erol Alkan's (sadly missed) Trash night. With a Kraftwerk-esque vocal and raspy siren synth alongside a low slung murky bassline, it all adds up to the greatness!Spiral comes from Seen On TV and is all kinds of Italo brilliance. Arp bassline? Check. Stabby synths? Check. Weird wonky honky-tonk pianos? Check! This is definitely the kind of thing to drop in a set to catch them off guard and go down a wonkier route….Massive DJ Harvey vibes!
