This strong psychedelic trip record clearly shows how great Peter Green was at the time. 'The End of the Game' is a hallucinatory mix of jazz, fusion and blues. The edited pieces of a long jam session are experimental and all instrumentals. Peter Green's wah-wah Gibson guitar is incredibly expressive as is his band. It is a journey that Fleetwood Mac didn't want to make, but Green did it in a mind blowing way. In 1967 Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie played in the legendary John Mayall & The Blues Breakers and were given free studio time during which they recorded five songs. Peter Green was so convinced of this band's musical prowess that he formed Fleetwood Mac on the spot and named it after the drummer & the bass player.

'White Sky' is the fifth solo album by Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green. This time he is more focused on the rock music, with all the songs written by his brother Mike. It is not his most innovative record, but one where he just shows another side of his musical abilities. The title track is the longest songs from the album, where you will hear the signature of Green, his guitar work. Peter Green's legendary debut album was released in June 1970, only a month after leaving Fleetwood Mac the iconic band he formed in 1967. The End of the Game takes a radical shift from Green's previous works with the band. The music, produced through a long free form studio session based on almost non existent structures, takes us through a deep hypnotic sonic experience. Green on guitar was joined by Alex Dmochowski on bass, Godfrey Maclean on drums, Nick Buck on keyboards and British blues legend Zoot Money on piano. End of the Game stands as one of the great psychedelic Rock rituals of all times.
