Cummings (Marker Starling, formerly Mantler) has been playing Melancholy Party Jams since 1999. A solo performer for many years, his preferred weapons were a Wurltizer electric piano and an early pre- programmed drum machine. Diamond Violence is his 8th studio album and features collaborations with Dorothea Paas (US Girls), Peter Zummo (Arthur Russell).

ACID KLAUS, the new collaborative solo project from songwriter-producer and Northern England cult leg-end, Adrian Flanagan (The Moonlandingz, International Teachers of Pop, Eccentronic Research Council & lots more) announces his debut concept album co-produced with his music partner in the ERC, Dean Honer titled Step On My Travelator: The Imagined Career Trajectory of Superstar DJ & Dance-Pop Producer, Melvin Harris which will be released on Yard Act"s ZEN F.C. label.The album features contributions from Adrian"s long-time collaborators and friends including actress, Maxine Peake, US musician and video director, Charlotte Kemp Muhl (Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger), Maria Uzor from Sink Ya Teeth and the Bradford-born pop-noir singer (currently singing in The Specials), Hannah Hu who is joined on lap steel guitar on a track by Richard Hawley. The album is completed by a whole host of fresh and exciting artists (as well as the aforementioned Lieselot Elzinga) - there"s the enigmatic Queen Bee of the Calder Valley, solo artist, Bianca Eddleston who goes under the name Soft Focus and finally from South Wales (and the current talk of the South London scene), the incredible welsh language singer-songwriter, Cat Rin.

Wolfsheim were a synthpop duo of Markus Reinhardt (music) and Peter Heppner (lyrics and vocals) from Hamburg, Germany founded in 1987. 1991 single „The Sparrow And The Nightingales“ produced by Carlos Peron of Yello. Reinhardt says the lyrics were inspired by ‚onomatopoeic tension‘

Flower Meg was a sexy dream pop icon of 70’s Japan fascinating the whole East first in late night television broadcasts, then as a model, actress and muse of Kaneto Shindō, and singer. The name Flower Meg means Flower of Meguro (the Tokyo district it came from). He begins by acting in the theater and with dance; then, still very young, in 1970 she made her appearance in the Go-Go Club show "Space Capsule" where she captured the attention of a well-known director who hired her as cover girl of the night television program "23 O'Clock Show". At the age of 19 he made, for DAN, a branch of the historic Tokuma, the album ささやき·ためいき·もだえ「Sighs, Whispers and Anguish」, today a holy grail for collectors. Back in 2017, Moderat announced that they’d be taking an extended break following a final concert in front of 17.000 people in their hometown of Berlin. And now they return. MORE D4TA, the group’s fourth album, arrives more than six years after its predecessor (2016’s III).

Created largely during a time when touring (and most traveling) was off the table, MORE D4TA is an album that wrestles with feelings of isolation and information overload—issues that have become particularly pronounced over the past two years. The ten songs on MORE D4TA are rooted in collaboration, but long before any of its tracks were laid down, Moderat spent months hanging out and getting musically reacquainted, indulging in extended bouts of experimentation and slowly fleshing out ideas as they dove into modular composition, field recordings and other sonic oddities.

But no matter how far the band ventures into music’s outer realms, they always wind up back in their own unique soundworld, a place where emotive pop and fluttering electronic soundscapes walk hand in hand. Many of its lyrics are rooted in Ring’s frequent trips to Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie museum (often with his infant daughter in tow), where he’d seek refuge in the great paintings of the past while worrying about the future.

What they make isn’t necessarily dance music, but it is something that shines brightest in the dark of night, the group’s rich melodies and Ring’s ethereal vocals emitting a warm, almost bioluminescent glow. After spending the better part of two decades making music together, they’ve carved out a sound and aesthetic that are all their own, and MORE D4TA showcases a group that’s creatively recharged and fully dedicated to its craft.

Soul Jazz Records new ‘Cold Wave’ is a new collection of current electronic artists who have all been shaped by the early European cold wave artists of the late 70s and early 80s. This is the first release of Soul Jazz Records’ new Cold Wave overview and a second volume will be released just four weeks later. These first artists created new electronic musical landscapes as well as pursuing a stubborn D-i-y aesthetic, often releasing material on cassette and pioneering use of lo-fi technology, primitive drum machines and home-recording techniques. As part of this continued evolution today many of the artists featured here also self-release their own material, run labels, publish fanzines, or are part of wider musical collectives. Aside from the first electronic, no wave, and post-punk artists cited as influences – Suicide, Patrick Cowley, The Normal, Martin Hannett, Laurie Anderson, Public Image – this new generation of artists also show an exquisitely open source of electronic and disparate influences, everything from Underground Resistance to Purcell, from Scientist to New Beat and more besides. Most of the featured artists are based in Europe and include Krikor, Dissemblance and Vqoa from France, De Ambassade from the Netherlands, Moisture from Sweden, Kreidler from Germany, Celine Gillian and Carcass Identity from Belgium. One exception is FIT Siegel out of Detroit, connecting the electronic pathways of Europe to the Motor City. All of the bands featured here make distinctive contemporary music out of the 80s roots of the first cold wave movement. This first edition of Cold Wave comes in two vinyl editions – a one-off pressing orange Colored Vinyl edition and a black vinyl edition. Both come as heavyweight double vinyl housed in bespoke individual inner sleeves and the limited edition first pressing of this album comes with its own free pull-out fanzine on the groups featured. The CD edition comes with artist booklet/fanzine and slipcase. All editions are printed in special dayglo colour finish.

'I knew that it was a very artistic city with all it's creative history, it seemed like the perfect place to move to.' he says. Whether it's playing keyboards in The Orielles or just being part of the city's growing musical scene, Alex plays music for the love of music, something that heavily translates into his adept songwriting.

Arnold Turboust made his first steps in the French rock world in 1980 with the band "Marquis de Sade", contributing to the keyboard parts of their first album "Danzig Twis". He was then part of the local Nantes band "Private Jokes" in 1981. In 1982, he met singer-songwriter Etienne Daho and the two men began a fruitful collaboration that would last into the 90s and beyond. Their first single together was "Le Grand Sommeil", followed by the album "La Notte" in 1984. In 1985 comes the huge success "Tombé pour la France", followed in 1986 by the classic album "Pop Satori". This was also the year Arnold had his own success with the single "Adelaide" in collaboration with Zabou Breitmann. Arnold's first solo album was "Let's Go to Goa" in 1988, produced with his Pop Satori colleague Rico Conning. He has released four more albums over the years, "My Friends and I" (1995), "Any Exit is Final" (2007), "Demodé" (2011), and reunited with Rico for the UNAC award-winning album "Arnold Turboust" (2016). Arnold has composed for artists as diverse as Sylvie Vartan, Brigitte Fontaine, Astrud Gilberto, Enzo Enzo, Barbara Carlotti, Lio, Plastic Bertrand and Jacno. None other than Françoise Sagan has described his special "je ne sais quoi" perfectly: "There is in Arnold Turboust something of Trenet's fluidity, Gainsbourg's detachment, a kind of tender indulgence for others, demanding for himself; a humor without cynicism and a most pleasing musical diversity." Arnold's new album, "Sur la Photo," will be released in February 2023, and the first single "Rue de la Croix-Nivert" has been available since October.

André Rieu is a Dutch violinist and orchestra leader known to many as the waltz king of Europe. He is also one of today’s most celebrated solo violinists/composers, with over 500K sales on his catalogue. Rieu is known to the general public with his performances of popular classical works by Johann Strauss. His 1992 Christmas album Merry Christmas consists of beautiful arrangements of traditional Christmas songs. Merry Christmas is available as a limited edition on translucent green coloured vinyl.
