Porter-Yoshida & Co. Accessories

Porter Yoshida Kaban was founded in 1962 by Yoshida & Co. and is famous for its very high standards, which have been maintained until today in terms of design and manufacturing. To ensure this, all Porter bags and backpacks are made exclusively in Japan. Consisting of extremely durable nylon fabric that is stain and water resistant, Porter-Yoshida & Co. products insist on timeless aesthetics and a sturdiness that ensures they will be enjoyed for a long time.

Since the parent company Yoshida & Co. was founded in 1935, bags have been produced in Tokyo according to old Japanese craft traditions, with every single seam and cut made by hand. Influenced by the experience of founder Kichizo Yoshida having to carry his belongings around on his shoulders after the great Kanto earthquake in 1923, his guiding principle for Yoshida & Co. is that bags should first and foremost be functional tools for carrying things. Of course, carrying comfort also plays a major role.
