Remastered, DMM Mastering limited edition. Alpha Orion (1984) and R.E.K. (1983). The 2 classic minimal synth productions by Frithjof Krepp. Vocals by R.E.K.
A cosmic journey including telepathic contacts with alien spirits and the story about computer age bound into an album which is similar to a radio play. Two musicians from Fankfurt am Main, Germany - Richard Kersten and Frithjof Krepp, producer for Walt Disney and Jupiter Records’ act „Topas“ among others - decided it was time to storm the charts with a German language electro pop LP.
Their subject was way ahead of it´s time and to this day timelessly topical. Living timecontrol (Gelebte Zeitregulation)

Why ahead of it’s time? And why should it still be of interest to this day? There was something in the air, that the public in general was just beginning to grasp: the computer age. No one could yet imagine such things as internet, mobile technology, Google, personal computers and global digital networks , but we all began to feel something was coming that would fundamentally change our way of life beyond comprehension. Would we like what was coming??
The answer was: yes and no.The general feeling was that the arrival and dominance of computer technology would bring about huge changes and social problems, but it was also generally viewed as progress and welcomed with open arms!
