DJ Teech and Taurus Impex Limited are the pseudonyms chosen by Marieu and Lucretio for their unconventional output, and already signed by Berceuse Heroique and Knick Knacks Yoda. "Coup d'etat" is a collection of 4 cutting edge tracks at the boundaries of Techno and House music. "Digital Bacteria" and "CGL" are two dancefloor minimalistic busters with a quick pace, with shuffled percussion and heavy digital sub basses coded over a steel cyberpunk texture. "PitchBlacky" and "The Perennial" have a very slow tempo but are injected of stinging hi tech funk enclosing a jacky essence that pour out from its experimental superstructure.

Bratha is the studio project of The Analogue Cops and No Mad Ronin. Their first two EPs on their own label Bratha have disappeared from the shops in just a couple of week. For their first release on Restoration they have been joined by the great Jerome Sydenham on the title track “I can’t stay”, an afterparty anthem; smooth and intense, hypnotic and charming, an outstanding balance of hardware power and restrained expertise. “The craziest come out”, on the other side, has the trademark features of the Bratha trio: entrailing, dark and spellbinding and with an heavy pace on the dancefloor.

Xenogears is the name of the first studio project of Marieu and Lucretio, also known as The Analogue Cops. With this moniker they released a bunch of seminal Techno cuts on the first chapters of their Restoration imprint, back in 2007. Tracks which were played by legends as Anthony Shakir, Claude Young and The Suburban Knight. Now the Xenogears are back with their first album “Lost Artemis”, showcasing their distinctive fast, Detroit-inspired hardware Techno. The album features a collaboration with their usual collaborator NoMadRonin (with whom they run the label Bratha) and with the talented producer known as Objekt. All the tracks are characterized by a strong fascination for hi-tech synthesizers and rusted vintage gears, a fast pace, and a minimal approach to live mixing. They have explored the subterranean territories between post-atomic noises and apocalyptic breakbeats, finding a way to equate machines with funkiness in an open battlefield.

Shit On Me remixes
12" | 2013 | EU | Original (Restoration)
7,99 €*
Release:2013 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Third Side’s infamous “Shit On Me”, taken from their first full-length release, “Unified Fields” is given a four-pronged remix ante up by some of techno’s more illustrious figures. Virginia is back on duty with a fierce and hypnotic twist of jagged percussion and echoing sample blends, transforming the original into an obscure and minimalistic techno voyage; whereas Morphosis injects his peerless swamp of sonic oddity under his Ra.H moniker – reducing the original into a truly experimental six minutes of chilling effects, echoing percussion and irregular drum bursts…a true hardware show. On the flipside, Marco Shuttle tears up the beat into a twisting, bass-morphing machine stomp, replacing the original’s drums and hi-hats with a mesmerizing cascade of sharp vocals and flickering note-repeats. Finally, the elusive techno excursionists, Xenogears give the original an ominous industrial edge, where harsh drum machine distortions meet long, dreary pads and cavernous vocal shots of the finest analogue calibre. Techno restoration is back with a vengeance…
