Another heavyweight of the English scene released on Dirty Punk Records and certainly one of the best known and best Oi! bands ever. Formed in 1979, THE 4 Skins have released a lot of songs on compilations that have marked the history of Oi! music like "Oi!" the album", "Strength Thru Oi! "Carry on Oi!" »... as well as some cult 7''s. By adding a few rare titles, we were able to release this double album bringing together the best of the band. Launched in London in December 1976, punk stalwarts 999 are one of the most successful and long-lasting acts of the upstart movement. Third studio album The Biggest Prize In Sport was their first for Polydor, the band’s competency at a peak, despite the temporary appearance of fanboy drummer Ed Case, drafted in from the Southall Crew supporters when Pablo LaBrittain broke his arm. Often ranked as the greatest album of their entire career, The Biggest Prize In Sport had noticeably smoother edges than their earlier work, yet still holding plenty of bite, the combination pushing it into the Billboard top 200 in the USA. Unmissable!

Compiling Japanese hardcore punk band Aburadako’s earliest recordings, this collection of rarities and early singles is absolutely brutal! With songs taken from their earliest self-released flexi-disc, a Tokuma Japan punk compilation (Greatest Punk Hits (1983)), and their 1984 mini album, ADK is 14 songs of pure, unrestrained punk spirit! Hirotomo’s vocals are at times incomprehensible, and the recording quality isn’t the best - but who needs those when you have some of the heaviest basslines and brutal drum grooves to come out of Japan? Pressed on a limited edition picture disc, this compilation of Aburadako’s earliest recordings is a must-have for all fans of Japanese hardcore!

Acid Klaus, the new collaborative solo project from songwriter-producer and Northern England cult leg-end, Adrian Flanagan (The Moonlandingz, International Teachers of Pop, Eccentronic Research Council & lots more) announces his debut concept album co-produced with his music partner in the ERC, Dean Honer titled Step On My Travelator: The Imagined Career Trajectory of Superstar DJ & Dance-Pop Producer, Melvin Harris which will be released on Yard Act's ZEN F.C. label. The album features contributions from Adrian's long-time collaborators and friends including actress, Maxine Peake, US musician and video director, Charlotte Kemp Muhl (Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger), Maria Uzor from Sink Ya Teeth and the Bradford-born pop-noir singer (currently singing in The Specials), Hannah Hu who is joined on lap steel guitar on a track by Richard Hawley. The album is completed by a whole host of fresh and exciting artists (as well as the aforementioned Lieselot Elzinga) - there's the enigmatic Queen Bee of the Calder Valley, solo artist, Bianca Eddleston who goes under the name Soft Focus and finally from South Wales (and the current talk of the South London scene), the incredible welsh language singer-songwriter, Cat Rin.

'Acid Motherly Love' is another Out-there ride through Acid Mothers weird and psychedelic world. Guitars howl, riffs grow Bigger with each minute and brains get fried along the way. Recorded under falling ash and burning roof tiles, 'Acid Motherly Love' features every dimension of their legendary underground sound - from wild riff heavy jams, to quieter acoustic passages and spoken monologues, all capped by the trance inducing 15 minute-plus epic 'Santa Sanrodriguez'.

Now this release is a real sensation. For several reasons. Number one: This album will now be released on vinyl for the first time. Number two: It will called "Garfield" worldwide and not be renamed in some countries. Number three: It comes with an additional record full of unreleased stuff from that time. Often over-looked, Adamantium was one of the original pioneers of what came to be Orange County’s metalcore scene of the early 2000s. Locally, From The Depths Of Depression was a highly influential album that helped propel them to be that band that touring bands did not want to play after. Released in 1998, this 25th anniversary edition is actually the first time this album has been available on vinyl since that original, ’90s pressing. To mark the occasion (as well as Indecision’s 30th), the original line-up from this record will be playing a one-off show in California this summer.

As an artist Vega had a crucial drive, but having a hit record was never a motive, neither was pandering to expectations, which is why Just a Million Dreams is perhaps a perfect statement for that moment, bettering the then bastions of MTV rock without even trying, an exercise in subversion that still has Vega’s unique artistry at its core. Would you expect anything less from one half of NYC legends Suicide? Perhaps not, but the hows and whys to Vega landing himself in such a mainstream position are perhaps just as fascinating as the record itself. Here Alan Vega’s vocals sound better than ever, full of emotion and brooding honesty. Lyrics painting images of dystopian love might be a sideways move away from the intense nihilism of his past, but it’s still the real deal. Alan Vega could not be anything else. Listen to tracks like ‘Creation’ and you still get that raw emotion he spent his career honing. Set against the grandeur of mid 80’s production: big processed drums, ru naway guitar solos, we get a rare peak into what Vega would sound like if he was allowed to be a rock star drenched in the sonic excesses of the era. It was a brave and unfairly misunderstood move, but the components come together to form an incredible anti-commercial, commercial album. Just A Million Dreams is the sound of Alan Vega taking on the 1980’s and winning. With help of the official Vega Vault, two never before heard tracks have been unearthed from the 1985 Jamd recording sessions and brought to life by long time collaborator Liz Lamere and Jared Artaud of The Vacant Lots, adding a new insight to the recordings. Henry Rollins also lends a new written perspective, making this release a vital addition to the collections of Alan Vega and Suicide fans. It has been said that Alan Vega is forever, his unwavering artistic approach can be witnessed throughout his career, whether as part of Suicide or as a solo songwriter, poet or sculptor. Just a Million Dreams is just another example.

"Les voyages de l'âme" ("The Journeys of the Soul") is Alcest's third album and contains the quintessence of the group's creative work to date. While "Le secret," the debut EP from 2005, was the key to the world of Alcest, "Les voyages ..." unites everything that characterises Alcest in terms of concept and music. While an epic composition such as "Là où naissent les couleurs nouvelles" would have found its place also on "Écailles de lune," "Beings of Light" with its blazing character reminds of the ground-breaking "Le secret." On the other hand, "Autre temps" - the album's first single to which there is also an impressive and visually stunning video clip - is a prime example for the melodic and catchy side of Alcest that initially came to the fore on the band's debut album "Souvenirs d'un autre monde." Something that is common to all of the songs, however, is the predominant feeling of euphoria and bliss, always subtly overshadowed by melancholia and yearning.

Lovingly made collection of Amebix rarities, starting with the extremely rare demo 1979 ripped from an OG cassette, showing the band in a very embryonic stage when they still had a raw minimal sound, partly experimental and partly reminding of early Crass. Side B includes their "Right to rise" Demo 1987 and extra tracks recorded live at the Mermaid in Birmingham, 1987, with the band at the top of their game, with their iconic and highly influential wall of sound. Comes with insert including lyrics, photos and scans of the tapes.

While the previous Amen Dunes records had all been largely improvisational first-take affairs, recorded in a matter of weeks at most, the forthcoming full-length, Love, is the product of close to a year and a half of continuous work. Damon McMahon (aka Amen Dunes) chose to hold the main recording sessions in Montreal with Dave Bryant and Efrim Menuck of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. In addition to recording the sessions that McMahon produced, members of Godspeed also played on several of the songs, along with Colin Stetson on saxophone and Elias Bender-Ronnenfelt of Iceage, who duets with McMahon on two tracks. The result is definitively the most substantial Amen Dunes record to date. These are elemental songs about time, love and memory, as much about the listener as they are about the writer: pure, open, and beautiful.

"How I Got Away" recalls AN's anthemic hardcore sound a la tracks "We Are" and "The World Is Blue." "Self Check-Out" is a minute-long punk blister. "Real Love" flies like speed fueled Stooges and "Praying Hands..." nods to the influences of Bad Brains and Negative Approach. Having started in 2000 and initially breaking up in 2004, the band reunited in 2012 and subsequently launched a second life of lauded shows and records proving that there is life after youth.
