Release:2016 / UK – Original

Jordan Peak's Rogue Society imprint gets straight back into action after taking a year off with a seriously heavyweight package. London producer and dj Sam Russo known for his outings on respected house and techno labels such as Leftroom, Vitalik, Fear Of Flying and air london provides us with three stellar tracks that showcase his impeccable production skills. The release also comes backed with high quality remixes from Fachwerk head honcho and Delsin regular Mike Dehnert, who takes a tougher approach and turns Therapy into a thundering techno tool while Chicago born Malmö native Amir Alexander changes the tone of That's What He Did On Sunday' into something much deeper and emotive than Sam's original adding variety and depth to another impressive release from the label.

Vitalik Recordings welcomes Sam Russo to the ranks with the rather fantastic Vanishing Test EP. Sam's production skills defy his years, his style defined and his sound signature. His trained ears have been sought after by the likes of Craig Richards, Matt Tolfrey and Huxley in recent studio collaborations. His music is non-categorical genre speaking however his influences permeate his music, dub and bass play key roles, darkness and light coexist in a dynamic juxtaposition, bright expansive pads soar over rumbling kicks and moody bass lines. Enlisting another protagonist of the next wave of UK underground producers, Jordan Peak delivers a low slung, industrial feeling number aimed squarely at the floor, his trademark snappy percussion and body moving bassline make this cut somewhat of a weapon. Finally MRSK rounds off the EP with (for want of a better description) a peak time banger. Sharing the production values of collaborators and friends Skudge, similarly MRSK manages to attain an unsurpassed clarity and magnitude of sound in his productions, this is no less evident in this remix, this remix is BIG.
