Hys004 is a deep dive into the Hayes sound. The rhythmic commonality and density of these tracks are joined by a plethora of stab-rich elements that enhance and define much of the label output.

Memoria Recordings warmly welcomes Costin RP. After his amazing releases over the past few years, this artist doesn't require an introduction.

The title track of the EP is called "Astro". As you expect from Memoria, very melodic and warm sound combined with perfectly shaped drums.

As usual, we take things a little deeper on the B-Side of our releases. "Intre Patru Ochi" & "Sidef" by Costin demonstrate once more that he has a lot to offer. Versatile in its strategy, and each track works!

Nina Kraviz released remixes for her "This Time" single by true masters of their craft: Four Tet, Moodymann, Lindstrom, Hieroglyphic Being, Terrence Dixon and Praecox. The release also features an unreleased extended instrumental of the original.

Australian producer Jxtps brings his deeply heady and unquestionably groovy techno to Palinoia with his Hypogean EP. Having previously released on Planet Rhythm and Voodoo Down (and sending me other tracks for a few years now), this four-track vinyl is purpose-built to melt brains and move feet on all dancefloors. While the A-side keeps it largely functional, funky is the star of the flipside.

Rawax presents one again the man who is the driving force fo the label. Unbroken Dub - Highway Sleepers EP will be out in May 2023!

Manda Moor hits back-to-back releases on Hot Creations with her Picante EP, accompanied by a remix from Hot Creations artist and Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood.

It’s safe to say that the past 24 months have seen Danish/Filipino DJ, producer and label founder Manda Moor surge onto the international house scene with a combination of stand-out releases alongside sets at the likes of Hï (Ibiza), The Beams (London) and Club Space (Miami). Having made her debut on the label with the excellent ‘The Climax’ EP last year, she returns to Hot Creations almost a year to the day with her latest EP as she brings the heat once again with her ‘Picante’ EP - with fellow Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood joining on remix duties.

A bubbly and playful title cut fusing rolling drums, vibrant vocal interjections and a slick groove to bring plenty of energy, ‘Picante’ takes cues from its title to bring a zippy production made to make crowds move, while Sirus Hood’s take lays a focus on snaking drum grooves as crisp organic percussion arrangements take a hold. In keeping with the theme, the EP is rounded out with another dynamic effort in the form of ‘Tabasko’ as Moor fuses more lively and hard-hitting drum grooves with sweeping bird noises and further vocal samples for another helping of dancefloor energy.

Cfcf returns with a glossy, euphoric and bright 150 BPM utopian shimmer and robotic vocal cooings courtesy of the mysteriously and adorably rendered vocaloid boy, “Troy”. First recorded in 2018, and blessed in 2020 with a pair of remixes from fellow Canadian dancefloor legends Priori & Ciel, the 9-minute-plus, 3/4 thump of “Never Going Home” has been a staple of Cfcf DJ sets for the last few years. Montreal’s Priori’s mix brings a heady braindance crackle, with thick breaks, pinging signals and FM bass, while Toronto’s Ciel goes deep on a dubby and skittery ‘homesick bounce’. Cfcf himself closes out the package with a wistful acoustic reprise suitable for a post-euphoria bittersweet sunrise.

Undeniably one of the most influential record labels within underground dance music, releasing material from Laurent Garnier, Krust and Mathew Jonson to Rósìn Murphy, Deniz Kurtel, Francesca Lombardo and Jennifer Cardini while playing a pivotal part in the careers of artists like Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Art Department and Seth Troxler, Crosstown Rebels stands today as a hub and platform for flourishing projects across the electronic spectrum, including via sub-label Rebellion and across a long list of showcases across the globe. More than just your everyday label, the Crosstown Rebels legacy has grown alongside its founder in equal measure, with head honcho Damian Lazarus continually showcasing, championing and spotlighting artists from across the globe who share his radiant, experimental vision for house music and beyond. Ringing in a major milestone in style, 2023 will see the biggest twelve months to date as Lazarus and Crosstown mark the 20th Anniversary of the label with a series of projects set to be unveiled in the lead-up to summer, with ‘cr20 The Album’ set for release on 12th May 2023.

Comprised of six stellar, high-profile remixes of releases from the label’s catalogue, alongside two previously unreleased original gems, the eight-track package is a rich and exemplary showcase of the far-reaching corners of the Crosstown Rebels sound and also its globally connected family of artists and close friends.

Opening the package, Lazarus’ own 2020 collaboration ‘Into The Sun’ with regular Crosstown vocalist Jem Cooke is given a cosmic rework by Johannesburg’s Major League DJz, while Jamie Jones’ slick ‘Paradise 2011’ is stripped back and given a new lease of life by the hypnotic and heady sounds of Art Department. Opening the B-Side, Dennis Cruz brings his percussive Latin-infused signature sound palette to Chilean musician and producer Pier Bucci’s ‘Hay Consuelo’, before Audiojack’s ‘Feel Good’, another standout collaboration alongside Cooke, is taken into synth-led territories as Michael Mayer reaches for an evolving bed of captivating tones.

The second half of the project brings more excellently remixed material, both new and old, with GRAMMY-winning DJ/producer Black Coffee turning his hand to the label’s first release of 2023 in Made By Pete and Zoe Kypri’s emotive ‘Horizon Red’, unveiling reworked melodies and sparkling keys as he delivers an interpretation of a track which has featured as a staple in his sets. Next, the project welcomes Adam Ten & Yamagucci’s playful yet off-kilter and wonky ‘The K Dance’ which unveils itself as a production perfect for those late night hours and early afters, before Ellum boss Maceo Plex’s ‘Together (2011 Mix)’ brings another lost production to the mix with a driving and zipping ride through sugary synths and soaring leads. To close, Tibi Dabo turns his attention to Guti & Dubshape’s absorbing ‘Every Cow Has A Bird’, delivering a nimble minimal-led trip through lush pads and crisp percussion to round things out in style.

Alongside the album, the 20 Year celebrations will also welcome a 192-page hardback book, ’20 Years Of Magic, Madness and Music’, with words from renowned journalist and key underground music player Joe Muggs, and a feature-length documentary directed by acclaimed director David Terranova.

Crosstown has become known globally for throwing some of the world’s best parties, from the wondrous cultural journey of Day Zero Tulum to longstanding Music Week marathon Get Lost Miami. The second album "opa*q" was one of Rei Harakami's early works. It was released in 1999, one year after his sensational debut "unrest," and re-released in 2005 as a special edition with two bonus tracks. This album, which became a masterpiece of the Japanese techno scene, has been out of print for a long time, and its reissue has been long awaited. "I had originally planned to release a single with two remixes, but I thought since it's a CD, I wanted to put more songs on it, so it kind of turned out to be like an album. As old veterans of electronic deep explorations they are driven by the aim to provide a general view and an état des lieux of the electronic microcosm of this scene supporting its different directions and creative aspects. This compilation is an invitation to have a deep dig into electronic Tunisia. The artists curated to participate represent different backgrounds and musical perspectives. This is the final dose of Pervocet. Pervocet is the brand name of the psychedelic music project from Patrick Russell and Jasen Loveland and is used to induce moderate to severe psychosis. The short-term effects of Pervocet last approximately 5-7 minutes and include Neighbor, Rawlo, L0v3 S1r3n, Phazy Susan and -- in some people -- a pleasant euphoria. This is one of many projects featuring Jasen Loveland aka Andrew Smith aka ? that IT will continue to release in honor and memory of him and his incredible and prophetic musical vision, showcasing his many Infinite Refractions. Dark Trippy Twisted Techno Cuts!!

Day Of Action sees Low Order reinforcing his vision of unrelenting techno-realism. Knowing the Tel Aviv producer’s general direction, it shouldn’t be inherently shocking that his latest 5-track EP comes storming out in radical fashion, immediately punching one in the face with its blunt, incredibly heavy bassdrums. “Where is the morning we´ve seen yesterday?” (Heiner Müller) Subkutan had a decisive influence on the perception of the Leipzig Club “Institut fuer Zukunft (IfZ)” from the beginning due to his personal presence and the special mixture of his sound from wave, industrial and techno. With his debut album “Unwritten” on Hypress Records he makes clear where he comes from and the cross-references to punk and poetry in a contemporary guise could hardly be more charismatic and immediate. The son out of a family of actors uses lyrical quotations to overcome the boundaries of different musical eras, creating a link between the past, the present and the future. With plenty of field recording and spoken words, he shows a multifaceted profile without losing sight of his own sound. Alex.Do (Dystopian, Wsnwg), Sylvie Maziarz (Dualism, Raw), Kaltès (Mord) and Kareem (Zhark) underline with their remixes once again the stylistic independence of the album.

T4T LUV NRG present the first vinyl release by Gynoid 74, the beloved Glaswegian DJ known also as Miss Cosmix. Label heads Eris Drew & Maya Bouldry-Morrison (Octo Octa) met Gynoid 74 through their work with the queer Shoot Your Shoot event series in Scotland. Gynoid 74 has been DJing for 20 years and has shared her knowledge of DJing and sound with so many artists in Glasgow that she’s truly beloved there for her contributions to the scene. She’s as likely to be DJing as she is to be working sound at a local club or huddled off in her home studio. The three artists all formed an immediate connection because of their mutual love for old school electronics, tape culture, and proper house music. When the label finally heard Gynoid 74’s original music they were blown away. Gynoid 74 tracks are a truly refreshing mix of 12-bit sampling and raw breaks alongside “tracky” house music that could have come from Chicago in the 80s, but didn’t. The songs on the “Shroom E.P.” are elemental and elegant, each one recorded on a limited kit of gear by a special artist who makes timeless music for herself, creating little worlds of her own to exist in. The vinyl release includes the incredible original artwork of ocypode_quadrata, which beautifully illustrates Gynoid 74 in communication with her snails and mushrooms.

Pleasure Zone presents Andrea Ferlin - Crepuscular beats Part 2 EP (12") Brilliant minimal techno/ electro from the Sleep Is Commecrial - founder!

Coming from a diverse background of equal amounts hip hop and rock, the producer behind the alias of nrl:ndr got into dance music late in his musical career. After playing in kraut-oriented bands like So Many Mammals, parts of that group reformed into the live techno outfit Tren Né, with the goal of fusing techno elements with live drums. Playing for illegal raves with a punk-like energy, nrl:ndr has cemented his relationship with his machines in service of the dance floor.

But his solo debut on blundar is quite far removed from that scene. To understand this music, one should be aware of the conditions under which it was manufactured. Reluctant to consider himself an artist in the traditional sense, nrl:ndr makes his music free of anticipation and without apparent goals. To glean into this outré musical space is like putting one's ear to the boarded up windows of the photograph that adorn the front sleeve.

The album makes extensive use of the Roland Jv-2080, a sample-based synth rack from 1996 with a distinctly clean sound. Our producer dives deep into the expansion cards (labeled after genres like “Hip Hop” and “World”) for curious and sometimes cheesy samples. But he also forces the Jv-2080 to do things which are not its forte, like the arduous task of programming decent kick drums.

Another technique that is testament to his experimental view on music making, is the idea of using sketches of unfinished tracks with different time signatures, and mash them together into something new - of which the results of one of these experiments can be heard on the closing track and its bilingual conversation between ambient and tribal.

Full of stunted rhythms and eerie melodies, the unclassifiable nature of the music of nrl:ndr lies somewhere in the vicinity of IDM, classical avant garde and private press synth. From the epic opening track - echoing the post-kraut drumming style of Michael Shrieve - to juggling with chopped up vocal samples and treading into almost trap-like territories on A4, he crosses into a multitude of genres without getting his hands too dirty with nostalgia.

Born from the party of the same name held at Manchester’s storied White Hotel, the increasingly essential Bakk Heia label has consistently put out thrilling 12”s from co-founders schuttle and low-key cult favourit Jorg Kuning since 2019. Stepping up for the imprint’s sixth release, schuttle brings four tripped-out cuts of contemporary dance music, showcasing his production chops across four stellar tracks, already getting an airing from Ben UFO on the Hessle Audio Rinse FM show, as well as support from Joe Delon, Kiernan Laveaux, Om Unit, K Means, Barker, Pariah & Terry Francis. “schuttle’s latest offering begins with ‘Shadout’. Fractured celestial voices materialize from a mist of frosted percussion while a merciful kickdrum splutters above the surface, bringing with it the viscous, swampy murk. ‘Souvlaki’ follows with playful impish chatter that stumbles over the moss-covered bassline, whilst cascading snare hits tumble down abandoned wells, a gentle guiding presence through the forest. ‘Swords Dance’ is a 10-minute display of cosmic glory, where conventional momentum is abandoned in favour of complete ecstatic, unbridled chaos. After the dust settles on this fiendish bacchanalia, ‘Junkman’ creeps into the fore. Caustic mire oozes into focus, mist rising sluggishly from the reeds while an elemental pad sweeps across the terrain.”

Warg Records proudly welcomes its second release of the year with Arnaud Le Texier.

We are honoured to have French born and London based Arnaud on the label again as he was the very first artist to release on Warg Records. Arnaud's career dates back to the nineties when he began managing record shops, producing and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. This release features four energy driven original tracks. The wild baselines and rhythmic low ends bring Warg's idea of techno to life.

Fresh from music on Moxy Muzik, Politics Of Dancing, Locus, and hedZup Records, he makes his first appearance on Trmnl Records with a trio of slick groove-led cuts spanning minimal and house spheres, backed by a hazy and warping late-hours roller provided by DeWalta to close the show.

Hard rave wave brothers, Younger Than Me and Curses have joined forces once again for their 2nd EP as Y2C. This time, in collaboration with 24/Hrs- the electronic concept label part of Milano's invincible Tempio Del Futuro Perduto collective, club and creative community space.

The project invites artists to come spend 24 hours at the on-site studio located within Tempio, and create music inspired by the energy and vibe of the multi-dimensional space.

Y2C return harder this time. Dragging their rave roots into a rusty blender drenched in neon acid and metallic percussion heard in the tunnels of lost dystopian cities.

From heavy hitting club tracks to a hypnotic ambient escape, the EP rounds out furiously with an absolutely devious and destructive electro techno bomb of a remix from fellow Berliner, Infinity Division (ex Minimal Violence).

Bogota born and raised DJ and producer Nicolas Duque has been lighting up the scene following a string of VA contributions and his perfect pop-tinged UKG debut EP on Breaks 'N' Pieces. Since then Duque has gone on to release music that flirts with nostalgia and contemporary electronics on Dansu Discs, Magic Carpet and Limousine Dream sublabel Nug-Net, merging house with various UK flavours. Now he makes his debut on Situ-888 with a futuristic four track EP demonstrating his fluidity between genres, this time opting for 4/4 kick drums and pleasure-seeking bleeps.

The sound of swinging hi-hats and classic bass notes churn as the record starts to spin, before distant electronics and crowd roaring grooves take hold in opening track 'Ritmos Contundentes'. 'The Unforbidden Track' is the perfect follow up, this time introducing acidic leads and festival ready chords brimming with warmth and light. The Aptly titled 'Ting-a-ling' opens the B-side in a playful mood, with optimistic melodies racing at full steam ahead. The record comes to a close with 'Midnight Library' encompassing everything that makes this record great; the combination of mischievous, yet light-hearted grooves built perfectly around an interchanging melody.

Sheffield-based Denham Audio make their Lobster Theremin debut with an incredible 5 tracker of breaks and bass, backed with a club-fuelled remix from Maruwa.

EP opener 'Feel The Panic' sets the pace, crunchy drums with scorching acid basslines and old rave esque vocal hooks, merging into a dancefloor driven weapon. 'Volt' injects a punch, chopped up drum sequences with floating vocals and pulsating synth lines, one for the early hours of the dance.

On the flip side Denham Audio leads with a drum driven roller 'Bobby Wobbler', breaks and beats soar and transform into a weighty number.

'Check 1' blends classic rave esque sound pallets with punchy kick drums and clean, crisp synth lines. Maruwa's remix of 'Check 1' showcases her incredible ability to create productions destined to do the business in the clubs, hands in the air pads play gracefully with the drum elements from the original production.

Retina.it duo and Domenico Crisci returns to Semantica after a long hiatus. This new 12" marks the first collab between them in the studio translated into a collection of techno tracks specially crafted to club environment.

Labelfounder Insect O. is back with a 3 track vinyl release of his handcrafted dub techno sound. But there is always more to discover. Sandstones starts with field recordings he took at the sandstone mountains of Saxony Switzerland National Park while hiking during the pandemic. Back in the studio he layered it on top of spicy chords, beautiful pads and a shuffling groove. But it is this melancholic organ that gives big emotions to the track. The second track is named after a famous little bass synthesizer. Volca Dub was recorded 10 years ago. It was sitting on the hard disc, waiting for the perfect moment to get finished and released. The chords of the Korg Volca Bass are heavily modulated and tranched into swirling tape delays with a rumbling sub bass underneath. Just like dub should sound. The final track Everlasting he recorded live in one take on his modular synthesizer. It starts with the rolling bassline by a Buchla inspired dual oscillator. A dreamy melody and melancholic chords are fading in. Filter pings are providing clicky drums while white noise from the Moog Dfam is playing a polyrhythmic snare. Pitch shifting echoes and a dreamy reverb are gluing the sounds together. It makes you remember the past and think about the future. Just like memories do. And some memories last forever.

Cosmonaut and JJ Fortune combine to create 4 tracks for the first Broken Sounds x Rizzwax collaboration. All tracks show a mixture of both producers characteristics and styles, brining together electro, acid, house and techno in a unique way.

Free-roaming French techno talent Angioma lands on Lady Tazz's Mind Medizin with a new single that comes remixed by the legendary Kaiser, Fixon and Toru Ikemoto.

Angioma does it all from peak time and hypnotic techno to jacking house, all with his own signature exotic twist. He is currently Berlin-based and has released on Made of Concrete, but also co-runs with Blanka the Room Trax label and Room Lab, contemporary local art and networking space. With increasingly high-profile sets in clubs like Egg London and Anomalie Berlin, Angioma is an ever more crucial part of the modern techno landscape.

The brilliant 'Unusual Suspect' is darkly seductive with its high-pressure techno rhythms and silky synth lines. Pulsing keys bring late-night hypnosis, and the icy hi-hats draw you in further to this shadowy and tunnelling groove. It's a warm, Mills-inspired sound that is stylish and dynamic.

The A Side also features a heart stopping Detroit infused remix courtesy of Mexican based Fixon (part of the Illegal Alien crew). On the flip and Gianluca Caiati aka Kaiser has been tearing up the techno scene for 15 years. His superb remix pairs things back but the pummeling, rubbery drums remain the focal point as whip-snapping snares lash about up top, incendiary hi-hat pressure grows, and the sleek synths intensify the trip. Finally, Japanese Techno hero Toru Ikemeto delivers an off-kilter slice of driving take on the original.

Legendary British DJ and producer Skream makes his debut on CircoLoco Records with “The Attention Deficit EP.”

Featuring the extended edit of the worldwide club sensation “The Attention Deficit Track” from Skream & Jackmaster, the EP showcases the pioneering producer’s diverse range across the B-side, with the atmospheric, breakbeat-infused “Floral,” and the ’80s influenced electronics of “Track 3” with rising star Jansons rounding out the heavy-hitting release.

Unrilis drops the latest release in its reinvigorated Rilis release series with a four-track EP by Ritzi Lee who is known for his hypnotic grooves and analogue sounds. Rino Cerrone launched the Rilis series in the '90s as an outlet for his own experimental tracks and in 2022 the Unrilis team decided to relaunch the project. Ritzi Lee is a Dutch artist based in Amsterdam who is well-known for his releases on underground imprints ranging from Bas Mooy's Mord to Ben Klock's Klockworks and his dark and dystopian style with raw percussion is a perfect fit for the Rilis style. Talking about his new Rilis series release, Ritzi Lee said: 'I'm a big fan of the early Rilis releases. That sound was always integrated to my DJ sets and a big inspiration for most of my productions. The early Naples techno sound was always about pushing the limits, but at the same time keeping it groovy and funky. So, I was able to use those rules and apply them into this release while still combining my own signature sound. I think it's best described as ruff edged with a minimalistic approach, but making sure to keep it warm sounding. I'm really happy with the result, as feels like there is a strong Amsterdam/Naples connection in this sound and I would say it is a perfect match.'

Hearing Colours is pleased to present their fifth EP, engineered by the master heads behind Melcure, the iconic duo, Felipe Valenzuela and Dani Casarano. These guys return with, "Under My Skin", showing us a touch of punk, techno and early uk tech house all mixed into one main idea. This hybrid saw the light after one of their latest, but few, studio interactions. The 3 cuts were designed on the same day and composed mostly with a MPC, an unusual system in their classic setup. This approach has given their sound a new twist which is presented uniquely on this EP.
