Release:2022 / UK – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Whilst walking in a future metropolis with the rumbling depths of buildings soaring up like a sonorous boom, several languages are gently spoken over your shoulder, until suddenly one emerges and gazes back. Pablo's Eye is looking completely through you, and in your inability to articulate its descriptive genre (ambient, spoken word, or maybe cinematic trailer) you are at once disarmed and liberated by the sincerity. The Florist's Mum is proud to introduce Pablo's Eye's first LP of original music in over 20 years, A mountain is an idea.

LP | 2021 | EU | Original (The Florist's Mum)
18,99 €*
Release:2021 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Best Available Technology’s Kevin Palmer keeps a backpack full of cassette tapes in his car to play at random and in their entirety. The Florist’s Mum release of Inscape Routes is an amalgamation of these long coastal drives, a high moon beaming through the windshield as a reverberating guitar plucking, structured rhythms of the highway’s rumble strips, a red light, and an indicator signalling left all take place within the tonal monastery of this metal box at 60 mph. Best Available Technology reasserts himself as a ruthless pioneer within his own field, a tree-lined pavement between ambience and dub, a dreamy drive down a barren city.

Release:2021 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Karakuchi is a debut 12” self-titled LP and the introductory release to the new London based label, The Florist’s Mum. The ten tracks are unclassifiable, but are best described as a leftfield dance epic with ambient undertones that combine lusciously romantic synthesizers, which bring to mind an amateur Vangelis, mixed with the dreamy chopped & screwed voices, that are all warped within the texture of deteriorating tape loops, and finally set to some surprising structures of bouncy garage kicks and dribbling hi-hats. Karakuchi’s drifting between orchestration and organic crumble are a perfect companion for active electronic music listeners seeking experimentation and new depths of sincerity.
