Record Store Day 2020 Release.

The first official Rolling Stones’ rarities collection originally released in June 1975 to try and outwit the bootleggers. The release combines some legendary out-takes and rarities as well as focusing on the wealth of demos that Jagger & Richards composed for other artists (produced by Andrew Loog Oldham or Jimmy Miller). Remastered by Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering) and Lacquer cutting by Sean Magee (Abbey Road Studios) Released exclusively on 180g Hunter Green vinyl Includes exclusive iron-on t-shirt transfer of the sleeve design, which alludes to Franz Kafka’s ‘The Metamorphosis’ (the story of a man who wakes up one morning to find himself inexplicably transformed into a huge insect!). This release replicates the U.K. version, with two extra songs, “Some Things Just Stick In Your Mind” and “We’re Wastin’ Time” that were not on the original U.S. release.

THIS IS A COMPILATION OF THE ROLLING STONES STUDIO SESSIONS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman started their sessions at I.B.C. In the hot summer of 1963, between July and August, they recorded at the Decca Studios Poison Ivy, It Should Be, Fortune Teller. On 14th and 15th September they were in Kingsway, London for their first EP with You Better Move On, Bye, Bye, Johnny and Money. Then they came back to the I.B.C. Having not hit the road for most of the 80s, The Steel Wheels Tour was an astounding return for The Rolling Stones, not least as it was the longest tour they had by that point undertaken. It was also to be their last with Bill Wyman. Steel Wheels Live was recorded towards the end of the band's 60-date run through the stadiums of North America, in the second half of 1989. The gate-busting ticket sales were one thing, but the stage and lighting design of The Steel Wheels Tour set the pace for superstar tours as we know them today. Special guest appearances from Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Eric Clapton and John Lee Hooker on this Atlantic City date make this an even more extraordinary document of the band's return to touring.

“Havana Moon” captures the historic, once in a lifetime concert by The Rolling Stones in Havana, Cuba on 25th March 2016. Directed by Paul Dugdale (Adele, Coldplay) this epic, record breaking concert is packed with hits and classic tracks. Filmed at the end of the “América Latina Olé” Tour, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood performed a truly spectacular set to an estimated 1,2 million adoring fans. The highly anticipated free show attracted a huge audience in the same week as President Obama became the first serving US President to visit Cuba in 88 years. TV News reported that Obama was 'the warm up act' for the Rolling Stones and Obama paid tribute to the Stones in his first speech to the world's media in Havana. As the Stones took to the stage under a perfect “Havana Moon” for a show that will forever go down in history books as a life changing moment for a country on the brink of change, there was nothing that was going to come between the band and their fans including the Vatican in Rome who had objected to rock n roll in Havana on Good Friday.
This release contains 3LPs and the DVD.
