Recorded at Randy's, Channel One & Chalk Farm studios by Clive Chin, Lloyd McKenzie, and Sid Bucknor with Sly & Robbie and members of the Soul Syndicate in full effect. Mixed at King Tubby's studio with engineer Prince Jammy. Keith Hudson aka the 'Dark Prince of Reggae' (born 1946 in Kingston, Jamaica - r.i.p. 14th November 1984 in New York, USA), was a Jamaican reggae artist and record producer. He is known for his influence on the Dub movement.

New to their instruments, Bobby Donnie had been crafting their strange pop rock songs since 2012 – the culmination being their forthcoming debut album “Bobby Donnie Sings the Bobby Donnie Songs” available on Ehse Records February 2015.

Glacial are the joint project of renowned Greek techno/house producer Giorgos Lemos -simply known as Lemos - and saxophonist/experimental artist Ilan Manouach.

On side A we are greeted by an epic fifteen-minute-long dub techno monster. Don’t let that sweet jazzy intro misguide you, as the track builds and builds to reach monstrous heights of energy, full of sub-basses and screaming horns, ideal for both peak-time or after-hours action. Side B is deeper, moody and minimal with a great groovy loop. Jazzy elements all over set the tone and when the break comes ilan’s saxophone shines through like a blister in the sun.

Assiduous presents their first vinyl release which is full of deep richness and undiluted soul. Side A contains heavy bass, synth stabs and a driving four to the floor beat that keeps the groove while a female vocal emerges later adding a bit of mysticism to the vibe on, "Meat And Potatoes". Side B brings to mind the sound of hard work in motion which is what the outfit, Assiduous is noted for. An aggressive deep house attribute that is also laced with a soulful female vocal that seems to stir up a spiritual overtone into the mix on, "No Mo".

Populäre Mechanik was a post-punk, jazz bastard project created by Wolfgang Seidel, friend and sometime musical partner of Conrad Schnitzler and founder member of Ton Steine Scherben. This collection has been curated by Holger Hiller, best known as vocalist for Palais Schaumburg. Hiller presents tracks from two cassette productions which Seidel released in the early 1980s. The booklet features an interview which Hiller conducted with Seidel in which they discussed the function of rock and pop music over the past 45 years.

Carl Barat (Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things) And The Jackals’ debut album. It was recorded in LA and features guest musicians, such as Beastie Boys percussionist Alfredo Ortiz. "I actually started making this record solo, but the long and short of it is I just didn’t like my own company," says Carl, adding that he soon realized that he wanted to get a new band together. Rather than call up some old mates to recruit for The Jackals, Carl decided to post a few ads online asking if there were any likeminded souls out there who wanted to try their luck at playing with him. The response was overwhelming, with thousands of people replying. Carl adds "I was lucky, because I found a bunch of people who genuinely fit together as a gang."

Florian Kupfer is back. This time he shows a glimpse into his diversity and depth. Starting in the familiar territory with his trade marked, blue eyed freaky soul vocals and rough beats before meandering his way through strangely sad blown out drum workouts and hip hop styled new beat tracks... Back in! We are very happy to present our first album on Ilian Tape. At the beginning of 2014 we moved our two separate bedroom studios into one and soon after started working on the album. All the tracks were made in about 6 months in our new Ilian Tape Space Studio in Munich. The time felt right to focus on this adventure, but without any pressure. Therefore the process became very natural and we felt free to go wherever the vibe led us. Our intention was to create a very personal and honest sound without any limitations or guidelines. It’s a reflection of all the years we’ve been growing up, working, traveling and playing together and it means a lot to us. But enough said music is not supposed to be described with words, so sit back, close your eyes, light one up and turn up the speakers!

Luigi Madonna returns to Drumcode a year after his superb single 'Primo'. Familiar hooks, huge stabs monstrous drums that storm across the dance floor are familiar with Luigi. The hard hitting raw vibe of this EP gives Luigi an edge. With fluttering high's and saturated lows, Luigi's tracks will blow you out the water. The EP encompasses different feelings throughout with the final track, 'Singer One' offering a more mellow side to Luigi's already expansive catalogue.

Famed Spanish techno artist Svreca is back on his own well regarded label, Semantica, with a new four track EP that is due for release in January. Entitled Narita, the release is inspired by, and dedicated to, Japan, and the tracks are a collage of all the experiences and emotions the producer has picked up there whilst on his travels. This release was also due to be the 44th on the label (which has now made it up to number 67) and so has clearly been cooking for a long time. Once again it proves the man behind it to be focused on stripped back and hypnotic grooves, shadowy textures and subliminal synths that are abstract and truly heady. Up first, 'Sleepless' is a spooky and hypnotic techno roller with icy pads and rubber drums that roll on like a haunted midnight train burrowning deep into your brain. 'Ebisu' is even more reserved, with just a light, skipping kick and tinkling, glassy keys suspending you in a wide open space of abstract atmospheric sound. On th e flip side, 'Mountain Splitter' is more urgent and immediate, with nervy pads this time racing alongside woodpecker precision and supple drums. It's heady stuff that really distracts you from the world before finally 'Trance' is a wash of grainy white noise and groaning synths that soundtrack a word deep down in the depths of the ocean. Svreca is a master of getting deep inside both body and brain and does so in different but captivating ways with all four of these cuts.

Four Sail is the fourth album by the American Rock band Love, released in 1969. By mid-1968, Arthur Lee was the only remaining member of the Forever Changes line-up of Love. Three LPs worth of material were recorded in a makeshift studio in a Los Angeles warehouse, released as Four Sail and the Blue Thumb LP Out Here. This expanded edition of Four Sail includes three bonus tracks.
