Batteries do not belong in household garbage. As the consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can hand in your old batteries at public collection points in your city, or any place where batteries are sold.

Pb = Battery contains lead
Cd = Battery contains cadmium
Hg = Battery contains mercury
