The Half Baked crew put on some of London's freshest minimal house parties and the well-regarded label reflects that sound and then some. This latest bit of fresh dance floor dynamite comes from Nate Su who kicks off with the turbocharged tech house and cosmic turbulence of 'Bird Brain'. 'Geewhiz' is a stripped back and freaky cut with slapping tech funk drums and squelchy acid lines zipping about the mix. 'Rush' is a tight, kinetic cut with a rugged bassline and some steely drum sounds topped with flashy hi-hats while last of all is 'Poets & Judges', something of a psychedelic house bumper.

Purveyors of deep-tinged electronic grooves since 2008, Ornate Music returns for their next analogue emission. Dropping four refreshingly shaped cuts from mysterious Bolton boy: Jimmy The Hand. A seriously talented artist and shaper of off-kilter sonics, Jimmy works his alchemy in all the right places on this impressive collection of creations. Punchy drums and uplit mood colour the way in opener 'Nail Varnish'', as 'Delve Deep' opens the Arps to crunched drums, setting the mind to cycle with impressive effect. Over on the flip, rising pads and rhythmic shuffle fuse with warped effects as you skip through the sunny climes of 'That's More Like It'. Last but not least, you're met with the RAW punch of 'Breath': a full complement of Millsian influenced psychotropia that leaves you screaming for more, you've been warned.

Long-time electro stalwart Carl Finlow is the man behind the Random Factor alias. He started it back in 1994 and it has given rise to four full lengths on 20/20 Vision, which is where he now returns with his first new long player in 15 years. Silencer is a superb return to form with a mix of electro-pop that is laden with indelible melodies, granular vocoders, angelic vocals and the occasion back room, heads down electro banger. As always with are second to none.

It includes "Koukiatsu Girl" newly mixed for this analog release, and the lead song "That Must Be September" from the latest original album "dreamin'" on the B-side. The song was written, composed, and arranged by Junk Fujiyama's sound creator, Tatsuki Kamiya, who has worked on all of Junk Fujiyama's recent works, creating an ongoing city-pop sound.

The A-side features "the Light" featuring Shizuoka MC TAMAAN.jp of Kotobukicrew, and the B-Side features a lo-fi beat version of the well-known closing BGM "Hotaru no Hikari", which has become a smash hit on digital streaming.

Singer-songwriter Haruno is releasing the long-awaited 7-inch version of "Spring Has Come," a collaboration song for the Technics Eah-az80 Wireless Earphones! The theme of the album is spring, and was produced in collaboration with Taku Inoue, who has written songs for Ado, ano, and Hoshimachi Suisei, among others. The B-side features a remix by "pas TASTA," a six-member Jpop project that uses the Internet as a medium to transcend national borders.

Toko Furuuchi’s two popular albums, “Futsuu no Koto” and “cashmere Music”, which were released during her Pony Canyon era from 2003 to 2007, will be released as analog records for the first time on August 3, 2024.

“cashmere Music” was released as her 14th original album in 2005. The album features four arrangers: Toshiyuki Mori, Shin Kono, Yuta Saito, and Ryuji Yamamoto. It includes a variety of song arrangements, ranging from standard urban AOR numbers and catchy 80's sounds to funky songs, electro, and hip-hop sound approaches. Furuuchi’s unique world of sad poetry adds a new direction for the next album and beyond.

Side D includes a bonus track titled “Somewhere in Tokyo”, which is the first collaboration with Takaki Horigome of Kirinji. Additionally, the album features a new cover of “9ji karano Lily” by Japanese group called “Cappuccino”, written by Yu Aku and Shunichi Tokura in 1981.

Toko Furuuchi’s two popular albums, “Futsuu no Koto” and “cashmere Music”, which were released during her Pony Canyon era from 2003 to 2007, will be released as analog records for the first time on August 3, 2024.

The album “Futsuu no Koto” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024. It contains ten songs, including self-produced band-arranged songs by Furuuchi herself, that depict the encounters and partings of a man and a woman, as well as happy love story. Those songs emerge vivid scenes, as if you were watching a movie. The timeless songs, which has not diminished even after two decades, continues to be performed at her concert.

The post-rock powerhouse known as And So I Watch You From Afar have returned with their 7th studio album, ‘Megafauna’. A tribute to the two places the collective call home, their beloved Portrush on the Irish North Coast and the beating heart that is Belfast; ‘ Megafauna’ is headstrong exploration and heartfelt appreciation with all the intuition, intimacy and humour of four firm friends approaching their 20th year as a band and a nod to the Irish roots that simultaneously ground & propel them forward. Like so many other bands and creatives throughout the pandemic, ASIWYFA found themselves suddenly stationary, with any plans outside of their immediate vicinity put on indefinite hold. However, where this might have seen other acts falter, ASIWYFA took comfort in their communal bond and, as soon as they were able, began writing a record that quickly became a love letter to the communities they call home. “‘Megafauna’ is essentially a distilled moniker for our peers,” says guitarist Rory Friers, “all of the friends and characters that we’ve grown up with who’ve made us and our homes what they are today. Now, DJ Yoshizawa dynamite.jp recommends four rare light mellow funk and soft rock LPs by Junko Hirotani, Kyoko Omiya & Orange, and Chie Sawa. These LPs were released on the independent Japanese label Pony Canyon from 1974 to 1980.

These albums feature the participation of Haruomi Hosono, Ken Sato, Masaki Matsubara, Masataka Matsutoya, Masayoshi Takanaka, Shigeru Suzuki, Taeko Onuki, Tatsuo Hayashi, Tatsuro Yamashita, Tetsuji Hayashi, Yuji Toriyama, Yukihiro Takahashi, and others.
