Cork-based Shane Linehan has risen to prominence with vinyl buyers in the past few years via his vinyl-only Basic Grooves label, a label which has seen the DJ/Producer release mostly (but not exclusively) his own ‘authentic house’ material which has won vocal support from Jus Ed, Norm Talley, Kerri Chandler, Dj Deep, Mosca and more. Having played for WetYourSelf!’s eponymous night at Fabric, Linehan now delivers his first EP for the WYS! label and it features three track of no-nonsense house music. ‘Aspects of Change’ unveils a tougher, more techno inclined side of Shane Linehan and the results are impressive.
