It is through this lens that Yoruba Records presents its upcoming single, appropriately entitled ‘Legacy’. The new track features label stalwart Oveous and Don Kamares, (a.k.a. veteran producer Marc Tilley).

Delivering a fierce and urgent call for connecting with legacies past, present and future, a reflective Oveous contemplates “for me, the culture means everything. The community, the music, the dance. All of it. So ‘Legacy’ was inspired by the culture and wanting to praise it for giving so many of us a space to release.”

This afro-tech house romp of a banger can only find a synergistic home on Yoruba Records. It’s the sound that is part of this label’s legacy.
