Bad Indians Bad Indians Keep Losin'

Bad Indians third LP is an onslaught of fuzzed out psych rock n’ roll and sci-fi krautrock. Keep Losin’ shows the Ypsilanti, MI four-piece constructing enthralling epics as easily as the succinct garage tracks that dominated their last LP and 7”s from Urinal Cake Records and Ginkgo. The band’s nucleus, Jules Nehring, once again proves his lo-fi recording wizardry with psyched out effects panned across the stereo spectrum. Since their last LP, Bad Indians are on the Other Side, the band has shifted their lineup to include Tim Thomas on drums (also of Secret Twins) and Kyle Sudak on bass. Jules Nehring and Morgan Morel split the vocal, guitar and organ duties. The result is a heavier record with more backbone. The sunny jangle of Other Side gives way to darker moods and more raucous rockers. There’s a 60’s garage psych influence throughout the record, but there’s also common ground to be shared with contemporaries like Human Eye, The People’s Temple and Fuzz. Edition of 250 hand numbered copies on color vinyl.
