The Godzilla franchise is a Japanese media franchise created and owned by Toho, centered on the fictional kaiju character Godzilla.

It is the longest-running film franchise, having been in ongoing production from 1954!

From the first ever Godzilla record "Godzilla-san / Our Anguirus" to the big hit "Shin Godzilla" in 2016, it is a permanent preservation board that traces Godzilla's music history in the form of a single record. In addition to "All Monsters Attack", the theme song that colored Godzilla's hero era at the Toho Champion Festival is recorded in the form of a reprint of the original version of Crown Toho Records. For the theme song "Kaese! Taiyo wo" of "Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971)", which is gaining cult popularity, the soundtrack version used in the movie was made into a record for the first time. "Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992)" and "Shin Godzilla (2016)", which boast the largest number of mobilization in the Heisei Godzilla series, are the first 7inch records of the inserted songs.

We at Now-Again unearthed so much information about the bands that recorded the definitive disco and modern soul contained in our Soul Cal anthology that we decided we had no choice but to release this album at the same time. With that, Loving On The Flip Side was concieved. Loving On The Flip Side offers the enthused a chance to listen to and reflect on another great burst of black American creativity: the creation of the sublime genre we like to call "sweet funk." It seems laughable to skip past Thomas East’s "Slipping Around" 7' for the cheesy funk of "Just A Trip," or to listen obsessively to Lou Ragland’s instrumental funk on the Hot Chocolate LP and ignore his indolent-yet-stirring "We Had True Love." Yet we did just that, until we first heard the Darling Dears and Funky Heavy’s beautiful two-sider. This was the record that set Loving On The Flip Side in motion, as the Darling Dears and Funky Heavy’s two songs precipitated the sweet funk genre: the dichotomy of Funky Heavy’s skull snapping rhythm section and the teenage Dears’ angelic harmonies didn’t sound like anything we’d heard before. That discovery set off a decade long search for the band and culminated in their discovery, the documenting of their stories, the emergence of their master tapes and the inclusion of their songs on Loving On The Flip Side. The excitement we felt while listening to the Darling Dears and Funky Heavy’s masterworks forced us back into the field, in search of other sweet funk swooners and beat-heavy ballads to round out this anthology. The opportunity to present anew such wondrous soul music made the exhaustive process that produced Loving On The Flip Side worthwhile, and allowed us to collect one-offs that escaped prior investigations into the deep funk and sweet soul genres.

The instrumental soundtrack was recorded by the band Toto (minus lead singer Fergie Frederiksen), accompanied by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Volksoper Choir, conducted by Marty Paich, father of Toto keyboardist David Paich. "Prophecy Theme" was composed for the movie by Brian Eno, who is rumored to have composed an entire earlier Dune soundtrack, although only "Prophecy Theme" and some incidental background music survived in the final film version. The first release of the soundtrack contained select cues in their original film order, plus two pieces of dialogue from the movie that served as bookends for two tracks ("Prologue" and "The Floating Fat Man (The Baron)"). This first issue was released by Polydor Records. "When I came across the idea of psychodrama therapy, I started to think about how we have so many joint experiences as a society that currently happen or have happened, and how they shape both our singular and collective consciousness. Music has always been a form of therapy for not just me, but a massive amount of the people in the world. I started to conceptualize this as an idea for the album, thinking that we all have so many connections to major/micro events in time, and generally similar interpretations of them. Like the idea of a psychodrama therapy session, I started to envision how the songs could play out about these different moments... The THORENS TD 204 was developed for the audiophile beginner. A turntable with sound expansion potential for audiophiles.
The surface finishes "black high gloss" and "walnut high gloss" fit seamlessly into the existing range with the typical THORENS design. The brand identity is underlined by the high processing quality and guarantees a long life like all Thorens turntables.

The newly developed TP 120 tonearm impresses with its high-quality bearing technology. The bearing play and the coefficients of friction could be reduced to an astonishingly low level for the price class by using modern bearings. The TP 120 is a real 9" J-shaped aluminum tonearm with an effective tonearm mass of 15 grams. The visual similarity to the larger models TP 150 and TP 124 is obvious and promises first-class properties.

The detachable headshell with SME connector is equipped with an AT95E from the Japanese pickup specialist Audio Technica. The skating compensation is carried out via a spring.

The connection terminal on the back shows high-quality RCA sockets for a solid connection to the amplifier. An integrated MM phono pre (which can be switched on/off) enables direct connection to a high-level input.

The platter, which is precisely manufactured from die-cast aluminum, is set in rotation by a precision drive belt. The plinth of the TD 204 rests on four vibration-damping feet.
