Once again, Saucony teams up with famous Boston-based Bodega store to reintroduce two colorways of the first collaboration of 2010. Introduced in 1989, the Saucony Shadow 5000 is a versatile runner that's equipped with essential support plus supreme comfort. To be honest, this running shoe hasn't aged since its introduction a quarter-century ago...not even a little bit. The Saucony Shadow 5000 is still known for its great performance, thanks to the supportive polyurethane midsole's ionic cushioning technology that provides shock absorption at heel on impact. Additional features of the Saucony x Bodega Shadow 5000 Elte include mesh and suede upper, soft fabric lining, a breathable Ortholite® insole with anti-odor and anti-microbial finish, a rubber outsole with a triangular lug design for traction and durability as well as branding details such as a woven label on the tongue, Saucony lettering stitched at the heel, and the signature appliqués on side panels.
