Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Kestin is a clothing brand founded by Kestin Hare. Kestin is a combination of the founder’s more than two decades of industry experience and his dedication to produce the most solid everyday clothing for men available on the market. During the 1990s, Kestin Hare noticed that people defined themselves by their t-shirts, or rather their brand and motifs, and drew their confidence from that. This aroused his interest and immediately led to him studying fashion & design. He then moved to London to gain experience with some of the biggest brands and designers. There he quickly acquired the basic values of a designer: Learning about the history of garments, where they were made, the function of different materials, cuts and shapes, the details as well as the importance of promoting British productions.

The idea for Kestin matured: to have his own brand that offered more than interchangeable products; a brand that people could identify with. When the time was right, Kestin Hare moved back to his native Scotland and started his own company to make his vision become reality. Kestin isn’t just about the clothes, it’s about creating jobs for people in Scotland and the UK, keeping the craft tradition alive and thriving, and ensuring that production is environmentally friendly. Kestin designs are characterized by technical and functional details, while being a little unconventional – just like the founder himself.
