Designed for the dancefloor without any worries about the bpm ruling the world, The Bam Jam Band celebrates Disco, Jazz, and Funk fusion in a post-house way. “Theme / Don’t go away” is the first single of this imaginary band, featuring local heroes Pedro Ferreira (bass) and Kiko (vocals).

Mostly freeform blowing by the Legend that is Terumasa Hino for the soundtrack, one of the exceptions being this Blue Note Styled Soul Jazz number that sounds as if it came off the Van Gelder production line circa '66 to '71. Easily could be mistaken for Blue Mitchell, Donald Byrd or Freddie Hubbard's outputs post soul, pre-electric happenings. Another Jazz Room thing of beauty!
