The inclusion of Z@P from Phonoteque Records and Cartulis Records, as well as Santiago Uribe from Montevideo Electric Recordings, highlights the diverse and rich landscape of the contemporary electronic scene in Montevideo. Daniel Anselmi, a seasoned sound engineer and producer from the old school of Uruguayan electronic music, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to breathe new life into Hugo Jasa’s “Estados de Animo.”
Mateo Otonello’s version, featuring Hugo Fattoruso on synthesizers, adds a unique touch by blending jazz percussion with electronic elements, resulting in an innovative sound.
The participation of Hernan Gonzalez(two phase you), Federico Deutshc, and Franco Di Gregorio (Digregorious) from My Own Jupiter represents a bridge between the old and new generations of the Uruguayan electronic scene, offering a variety of approaches and styles in “REWORKS.”
