Established sometime around 2005, AIAIAI was conceived in the A House, an old Copenhagen industrial building that became a seminal nest of creativity. The AIAIAI guys hosted a club at the top of the building, and initiated the influx of a collective, consisting of more than 200 young creative minds, many of whom AIAIAI still works closely with today. This environment didn’t just shape some of the biggest and most influential Danish artists, musicians and designers, it also shaped AIAIAI’s collective vision, which still hasn’t changed until this day: They aim to create headphones and other consumer electronic related products that have a clear connection to the creative world, and thus make a heartfelt, different and genuine statement. Back to present times: AIAIAI Lab is the new business department within the Danish company. The Lab will focus on collaborations within existing product groups and new product development. The idea is to have a work setting where anything can happen in terms of weird projects and products. In other words, it doesn’t have to be related to AIAIAI’s core business. Products to watch out for: Swirl, Pipe, and Y Model Earphones, Tracks Headphones as well as the amazing TMA-1 DJ Headphones.
