Jordan Brand proudly presents the return of the amazing Air Jordan 1, a retro design with accents inspired by the famous Bulls colors. Loosely based on the lines and aesthetics of the Nike Dunk High, the original Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore. It was introduced in 1985 in a signature red and black colorway, that was later outlawed by NBA Commissioner David Stern, for not having any white on the upper. Although he had to pay a fine each time, Michael Jordan wore the shoes anyway. Features of the Jordan Brand Air Jordan 1 Retro '94 include leather upper, perforated toe box, soft fabric lining with plaid pattern, a slightly padded collar, Ghilly lacing loops, a foam-padded insole, an EVA foam midsole, a stitched rubber cupsole, Nike Swoosh appliqués at side panels, pre-Jumpman Air Jordan branding embossed at collar, Jumpman embossed branding on the leather layer of the tongue as well as Jumpman logo embroidery at heel.
