Since Nike produced early skate shoes in 1997, it was a long way until they developed the line we know as Nike SB (short for SkateBoarding) nowadays. Today, skateboarding professionals such as Eric Koston, Paul Rodriguez or Stefan Janoski sport Nike apparel and kicks while they perform their little, stunning tricks. Thanks to the know-how of the mother company, Nike SB is able to produce the most comfortable footwear items you can imagine. Lots of the signature shoes ain’t even equipped with Nike’s signature Air cushioning – instead of this, the Phylon midsole is responsible for an old school feel reminiscent of vulcanized sole. The Nike SB designs are down-to-earth, with lots of vintage color schemes and traditional branding. Plus, the silhouettes of the shoes are slimmer than those 6.0 styles. Even the apparel collection was designed in a more traditional way, exactly the way hardcore skateboarders love to dress.
