Action Pact were a punk rock band from Stanwell, an isolated village right under the flight-path of London Heathrow Airport, inspiring this album title-song.àFormed in 1981 by guitarist Wild Planet, bassist & lyricist Dr. Phibes, and the then 15-year-olds drummer Joe Fungus and singer George Cheex, still school-kids when their Heathrow Touchdown EP was released in October 1981. BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel played the single many times and booked them for their first session, recorded February 1982.àSigned to Jungle's Fall Out Records imprint, Action Pact"s label debut Suicide Bag EP went to the top of the British punk chart in July 1982.àFive more singles entered the indie charts including Yet Another Dole Queue Song, and a reworked London Bouncers, along with two albums, 'Mercury Theatre - On The Air' and 'Survival of the Fattest'.àA second John Peel session in '82 and a David Jensen BBC session in '83 were also recorded and broadcast - all collected together here for the first time.

But without the composure. There's more than just borderline nodding when the fascist granddad is singing his aiwang again or the leather-skinned aunt is raving about her lover from Mombasa. Someone says something when the hipster cousin celebrates multiculturalism but prefers to lock the Prius on Hermannplatz from the inside. The uncle who lines Schinkenstraße once a year is mercilessly held up to the mirror when he finds the hordes of tourists in front of his condominium in Friedrichshain somehow difficult. Here, at least someone still opens their mouth when the artist's son with a mask certificate craves corona help or retort pop stars take the teenage daughter's pocket money. Great, it was just so cosy... and then they come back, these Augn, and take an axe to the tranquil idyll of German stupidity. But to be honest... let's be clear... someone has to... it's high time... where is this going... it can't go on like this... or can it?

Each of the fourteen tracks follow their own paths, embodying thoughts of discontentment and discouragement, questioning authority and humanity along the way and react with resolve, filtered with virtue, and far surpass previously trained ideas of Punk music constraint.

This LP represents everything the label could dig up by LA's infamous Bags. Featured on this LP are: Tracks 1-4: The Dangerhouse Recordings 1978 "Survive," "Babylonian Gorgon," "We Don't Need the English," "We Will Bury You." Tracks 5-8: Live at the Masque Recordings 1978 "TV Dinner," "Violent Girl," "Animal Cal," "Chainsaw." Tracks 9-13: Live in Portland, Oregon November 25, 1979 "7 and 7 is (Love)," "1,2,3," "Gluttony," "In Love With Romance," "Survive." Tracks 14-20: Assorted rehearsals, live, demos, and alternate takes. Includes a 4-page insert with liner notes written by Brendan Mullen.

Launched is the second album from German hardcore punk band, Beatsteaks. It was released in March, 2000 and follows the band's debut release 48/49 in 1997 on XNO Records. The album contains an interesting half acoustic cover version of a song by heavy metal band, Manowar, "Kings of Metal".

Yep, there is a repress of this masterpiece. And as always licensed by Epitaph Europe. Artwork was done by long term Breach designer Pierre Johansson and is printed with silver ink & UV lacquer on 350g heavy gatefold jackets. Nothing more to add.

Hailing from Britain’s formerly industrial heartland of North Yorkshire, The Burial was a forward-facing ska-punk/Oi band with a strong Left orientation, channelling 2Tone, Northern Soul, punk, and folk influences. Rhythm guitarist Eric ‘Barney’ Barnes made sure the world knew these skinheads were antifascist and the use of a full horn section made their sole LP, A Day On The Town, stand out. Unlike the Redskins, who soon moved to the student circuit, The Burial remained embedded in the working class communities from whence they came; this fine, often overlooked LP will be devoured by all fans of ska-punk and Oi!.

Athen's CHAIN CULT return with their first full length following a great Demo and 7" from last year. Shallow Grave shows the progression of a band who have played non-stop for two years, covering pretty much all of Europe. CHAIN CULT's post punk is anthemic, militant and idealistic, putting music to a very dark and bleak time and place. You can hear echoes of early THE CURE, THE SOUND, Second Empire Justice era BLITZ or WIPERS in their music but also the passion and conviction of locals METRO DECAY, STRESS or ANTI_ Very much a perfect reflection of what springs to mind thinking about the current Athens scene.

Canada's punk rock legends DOA release their twelfth album Northern Avenger on Sudden Death Records. Led by Canada's punk rock godfather JOE SHIT KEITHLEY, Northern Avenger is a bone-rattling combo of anthemic punk, intense riffs, politics and a good dose of humor—just what you want from a DOA album. Considered to be the D.R.I.'s most successful album to date selling upwards of 250,000 albums worldwide. Thrash Zone continues to resonate with each new generation of thrash metal fans.

Dead Bob is the solo incarnation of John Wright, drummer from long time and apparently legendary but now retired Punk rock band NoMeansNo. Life Like, a NMN cover actually, is the first album John has released on his own. Though primarily written and performed by John he can not take all the credit having engaged the help of several friends to get this thing done including—Byron Slack (Invasives), Kristy Lee Audette (Rong), Ford Pier (doa, Rheostatics), Selina Martin, and his son Aidan Wright, as well as two old collaborations with his brother Rob in the writer's chair Recorded and Produced by John in the wilds of British Columbia, this album's material spans several decades and there is lots more in the archives. As might be expected the songs roll out cohesively but defy the cookie cutters and pigeon holes hence "Genre" is a tough one to convey but one thing that is not unclear is it is not to be listened to quietly! Play loud and enjoy!

On their seventh studio album, Deftones prove that they don't need to compromise aggression for ambition. Koi No Yokan ranges from brutal, blunt-force trauma ("Gauze") to epic prog-rock atmospherics ("Tempest"). Opener "Swerve City" sets the tone immediately with a bludgeoning riff, but Deftones also take nuanced approaches to angsty tension, weaving meticulously crafted cosmic rock on "Entombed" and wading through murky, jagged textures on "Rosemary."

"Männer, Bomben, Satelliten" wurde 2003 zum achtzehnten Geburtstag der Wattenscheider Band als sechstes reguläres Album veröffentlicht. Zwar volljährig geworden, verblüffte die Band mit den verbesserten Gehirnen weiterhin mit spätpubertären Schlüpfrigkeiten gegen den guten Geschmack. Das musikalische Spektrum dieses Klassikers reicht jedoch weit über Punk hinaus und enthält Ausflüge in Jazz, Chanson, Country sowie Heavy Metal. Dazu neodadaistisches und Kabaretteinlagen. Die kulturelle Bedeutung der Kassierer festigte sich mit diesem Gesamtkunstwerk.
