Next up in our 7” vinyl series, Honey C aka the late great Philippe Van Mullem and Bonzai stalwart Philippe Toutlemonde, delight with two seminal vocal trance tracks – Stop (The Disease) and Desire. Housed on light blue colour 7” vinyl, both tracks were first released in 1993 on the Houze Factory imprint before Stop (The Disease) was snapped up on the legendary Bonzai Trance Progressive in 1997 with a raft of remixes in tow. Desire would make an appearance on Bonzai Classics Digital in 2007, cementing its status as a retro gem. The 2 Philippe's were pioneers of that vocal trance sound and their project Quadran gave rise to the vocal melodic trance scene which still resonates to this day. Between them they notched up quite a few cuts with aliases and groups such as Innertales, Extreme Trax, Oudja and The Gaps among their repertoire. The A side features the original mix of Stop (The Disease) which intros with a classic build up and explosion before an eerie, almost cinematic sequence takes over. The melodies soon become prevalent as a tight drum section keeps the rhythm flowing. A pulsing bassline holds the track together beautifully as that infectious vocal takes over the groove. On the flip side the Club Mix of Desire resides, taking us into an energy driven experience that sends the nostalgia juices flowing. Classic gated synths stand out as a powerful bassline drives the groove. The vocal is catchy and inviting, striking a perfect balance in the groove. 2 solid cuts for the collectors of fine beats.

Grenoble based label Sekhem returns with a brand new VA gathering french talents. This time, Charlou, Saonore, Clementuu and SSD (Sea Side Department) are in charge of this 3rd release filled with oldschool techno, acid and trance accents.

After successful releases on Transatlantic and Monnom Black, German FM synthesis wizard Luca Daniel Schwarz (aka Lds) presents his latest record ‘algo5’. The EP captures a wide range of sonic ground with innovative and futuristic edge.

’nbdfoil’ the opening track starts the voyage with mesmerising awe before sliding into ‘kizzt_VF’ where reality distorts and mind-warping events unfold. Closing out the A side the interlude ‘<13’ stumbles along with playful weirdness and explorative sonic gestures. Back in more familiar territory the B-side’s ‘fl+’ and ‘Vone’ propel dynamic rhythms through the ether until arriving at the final track, ‘mfäg’ where fragmented arps and cinematic ambience give an emotional sense of closure.

LDS’s ability to compose to a high level of depth and intrigue is unmistakably a significant feat for any electronic dance music producer and testament to the possibilities of modern sound design.

Axces Recordings is releasing their second various artist release “Trip Wire EP”. Compiling 4 different tracks from 4 different artists focussing on minimal experimental techno club music. The record premieres Søren Kinch aka CX alongside the usual gang: Alfredo92, Kasper Marott and Popmix.

Trip Wire’s 4 tracks all have common denominators of being moody, trippy and darker than the usual Axces europhoria. All composed from an idea of linearity whether it being the straight forward grooviness of the track IZA, the 8 minute suspenseful robotic tantra workout in Kasper Marotts “Welcome” or the more laid back in the sofa, über minimal parade in popmix’s Ultima. With the opener track “Sjunne” Sørens Kinch or CX makes a promising debut. The track is ultimately the most romantic piece of music on this next edition of Axces music frisbees, with swirling pads and a kick drum that goes deep as the ocean.

The EP will be available on black vinyl. The release is presented with beautiful artwork done by Axces visual artist A.V. Nielsen.

For their sixth instalment, Lowlife Cartel follow up to their last two compilations (“Pimps Improvisations” in 2018 and “Omnia Vanitas” in 2020) with a new six-track VA named “Kodoku”; a vortical release, both bold and forward-looking, while fully geared for the club environment. Taking its title from a poisonous magic from the medieval Japanese era obtained by placing several venomous insects in a jar and letting them kill one another until only one survives, “Kodoku” - which interestingly also translates as “solitude” - features a cast of producers old and new to the fold including Saverio Celestri, the faceless △, Prince de Takicardie, Tundramane & Ko$te, Solar Alliance and Shampoo.

A staple element of the Lowlife Cartel bunch, Saverio Celestri paves the way and dishes out one of his signature jagged, EBM-informed weapons in “Sundays”. Through this hotchpotch of acid-steeped bass entangled with a frantic newbeat-ish swing and razor-sharp synthwaves, the Italian producer shows off the raw and playful facets of his craft to optimal effect. Unknown contributor △ clocks in with “Crachats de Lune”, a proper ominous banger going straight for the jugular with its clever mix of dusty, drum-laden churn, processed vox stabs and sci-fi-indebted laser bursts flashing by unrelentingly. Tailored for hi-octane action at the defunct Boccaccio or Hacienda, Prince de Takicardie “Jam’on’Acid (House Mix)” blows the winds of euphoria across the club like it was done in 1995. Vibing to a pulsating mix of rabid snares, 303-vehicled charges and mangled vocal samples on a classic free rave tip, throwback material that packs a punch.

Flip it over and here is North-American duo Tundramane & Ko$te shifting the scope to Memphis chopped-and-screwed in true hardcore fashion. Straight-out aggression, “Brick To The Face” lives up to its title, so expect leaving the place with a few teeth out your mouth and a good concussion, though more side effects could appear over repeated listens. A radical U-turn from the previous, Ute.- related triplet Solar Alliance - alias Ekkel, Oprofessionell and Mikkel Rev - bring their dashing trance touch to the comp with “Quest for Kiba”, an uptemp maelstrom for the senses, swirling and whirling up until space and time make no damn sense any more. Topping off that versatile tour de force, Japanese producer Shampoo adds his delectably sensuous spin on the record with the lush, sample-heavy lo-fi appeal of “四季ノ歌”. Unpolished feelgood vibes, sun- streaked soulfulness and deft-handed MPC wizardry are on the menu for this ultimate ride and jolly finale.

Marie Montexier, the head behind Paryìa, releases the label’s first EP by the German-Turkish artist a.b.u.3.0.3. Creating a range of slow and fast rhythms while mixing different genres from experimental structures to floor fillers, Paryìa I doesn’t only highlight a personal and intimate side of a.b.u.3.0.3.’s work but also Marie’s sense for crossing genre boundaries. Influenced by this father’s culture a.b.u.3.0.3 blends elements of traditional anatol-folk with electronic music that shaped his youth. He combines bass heavy techno rhythms with deep acid patterns, letting his arrangements oscillate between nostalgic moods and contemporary sounds.

Blossom Kollektiv is proud to unveil their first full length release since relaunching in 2022, with Porto?s Pixle82 and his first album ?Infinity?. Following the single release of the title track of the album, the full nine track voyage makes it appearance this April. Pixel82 talks about this work, which was produced during a time of forced introspection and uncertainty, as a rediscovery of the past to find the future. He wanted to create an uplifting vibe for the songs on the album but while still having a subtle dystopian feel in some of the tracks. To achieve this sound, he experimented with polarities and used sounds that are personal to himself including organic sounds from nature and even from his personal life with the use of a recording of the heartbeat from his own daughter. During the nine-track expedition the artist creates an honest tour de force, without the constraints of making dance floor shakers and the end result is a highly effective trip that electronic music lovers around the world will adore, not only for listening but also with various moments that will work wonders on the dance floor. Each track is carefully crafted to play off the other with lively alluring synths, eclectic beats, and cleaver use of vocals throughout the album that seals each track together cohesively. Beginning with ?Breaking Free? its creative use of vox paired with uplifting synths sets the mood of the album that leads to the title track ?Infinity?, an underground pop venture with the same feel-good vibe but with catchy vocals that are sure to be stuck in the listeners head long after hearing it. Then the broken beat tracks ?Beyond? and ?Alien World? whisk you off to strange new worlds with interesting broken beat drum patterns and synths that keep the same harmonious vibe as the rest of the album. The final message of the album leaves an impression of hope through the title ?Infinity? that comes from what the artist calls a simple idea of a loop, the continuum of life, togetherness, and union, which he has seamlessly expressed through his own experience during a time of the unknown. Arriving on There Is Love On You, following killer releases from Posthuman, Denham Audio and Saturday Night Rush, comes a sci-fi soaked five-tracker spanning headsy techno, proggytrance and chugging ethereal noise from 'Us' founder Desire, who heads the project that aims to 'shine the light on queer people' through releases and mixes.

'Express Self Love' sounds much like the expression of ecstasy. Spacey atmospheric and ear-wriggle acid lines meet in a dimly lit room with dark techno, electro and trance for a proper headsdown affair. 'Dernier Souffle' is a cut of contemporary progressiveness being championed by labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult and Butter Side Up - minimal, malfunctioning and dubbed-out goodness.

'Keep Moving' maintains a meaty bassline that threatens to overflow at almost every turn - moments of celestial high-ends emotional transfixation sparkle amongst the tough-as-nails techno - before 'Incisiveness' follows up with what might be the fun-loving twin of its predecessor; a cut of peak moment, intellectual techno-trance.

The tempo comes down on 'Voyage Infini'; a chugging cut of transcendental synthwave best played as the sun is just coming up.

After a long period of significant changes, comes a release that will set a mark on the label, in this pack the tempo has risen up, the usual chords, delays & reverbs this time evoke (till a certain point) an almost extinct sound where techno and trance manage to go hand in hand in a stylized and subtle way that in today´s field is hard to find. This release, aside from being the artist's first solo reference, also marks an evolution of the label's sound towards new horizons without losing the essence that has characterized the brand from the beginning. Should we look back and bring something of the past back into the forefront of our mind? We think yes!!! Because Kellerkind's “Disco on the Dancefloor” remains to this day a huge milestone in Sirion Records discography and the original track is still 10 years later an absolute earworm. Dedication, constant focus on music, care and respect for others, are attributes that continue to apply to Kellerkind and have moved us to a remake of this infamous title. As the title of the main track says, “Disco on the Dancefloor” with its groovy basses, poignant disco stabs is ideal for the dancefloor and still perfectly suited to inspire the masses. But Kellerkind doesn’t rest on the guaranteed success of the past, he immediately delivers a thriving remake that perfectly reflects his current musical taste. Percussive, hypnotic and an all-around successful job to dress the track in a new garb. Fittingly, there are two remixes by 8 Bit labelhead Gorge and Bernese producer Youen, among others. A housy framework paired with percussion, discoid bass line and the hypnotic synth surface in the usual Gorge manner, not only gets the legs bobbing and the head nodding, but animates to conquer the dance floor. Youen's techhousy remix puts the focus more on kick and clap and therefore comes as a true stomper. Peppered with the discreetly used samples, this makes for a wonderfully danceable mix for peak time. 10 Years of “Disco on the Dancefloor” is therefore more current than ever and an absolute must in the record bag, either on vinyl or digitally.

Beyond the Outer Limits by Cult of the UFO is a new solo recording produced by Anthony Barker of Overlords of the UFO. Due to Anthony being an integral contributor to the music of Overlords of the UFO, the four tracks maintain the trademark retro analogue sci-fi vibe of Overlords of the UFO, although with a more contemporary edge. This is the 3rd release by Enlightenment Records.

Swedish progg is not to be confused with "prog" as in progressive rock music. When we are talking about progg, we are refering to the Swedish music movement influenced by the political climate of the late 60's, to some extent the hippie movement and in many cases also Swedish folk music. Music highly driven by an political agenda. Blod's Knutna Nävar, originally released in an edition of 150 copies on Förlag För Fri Musik in 2018 and later a small cassette run, is pretty much a lost progg classic from the 70's. This is not a case of copying a certain sound though, far from it, neither are ideas really rehashed nor does the album feel nostalgic in that sense. Rather it feels like if someone has read about the progg movement and all the records but never actually heard it, yet decided to do an album and somehow managed to succeed big time.

Further developing the sound palette and ambience initiated with parts of the Leendet Från Helvetet recording, the music feels slightly louder and more in your face. It's like it's more of everything. The melodies are immediate and it's quite impossible to resist the brash catchiness of it all. Albeit mentioning progg music and it's importance for this recording, the actual musical side of Knutna Nävar has in reality more in common with soundtrack/library music and Swedish composers like the late Björn Isfält when you attempt to break it down. The crude DIY approach and anything-goes mentality just adds an extra dimension to it all and ultimately places the music somewhere else. There's a rather blunt use of samples throughout the record (sources probably best to leave out, though you don't have to be a Einstein to figure these out), but then again this is made by the same guy that gave the world the Abba album. Those samples have managed to become an integral part of the music through the few years that has passed and though well familiar with the records those snippets are now to me genuinely Blod and nothing else.

It's been a true pleasure but also a rather chaotic experience to follow the progress of Blod from a close distance since the beginning. I have fond memories of receiving the odd cassettes from the early days, like the severely fucked up Unga Röster (later issued as an LP on Förlag För Fri Musik) and the awfully mesmerising Prat Om Depression recording. Returning to Leendet Från Helvetet for the first time for long a while, it's quite evident that the album marked a new phase in the troubled Blod universe. There's few traces left of the found tapes/audial voyeurism and brutish stop/rec editing that made up the first few releases, instead we are served with what is pretty much a proper album in a, sort of, traditional sense.

The record opens with a sole beat from a hand drum soon accompanied by a beautiful and very Blod-ish subtle melody from a glockenspiel but it only takes a few minutes before Gustaf's past as a free jazz aficionado is noticeable with the rather rough saxophone burst of 'Natten'. It's not until the title track that things kicks off for real though, most likely the first example of the sound and, maybe more so, very special feeling that I would say most people associate Blod with nowadays. To me, it's the sound of growing up in Sweden in the 80's; having two channels on the TV, eating brown food, rainy summers, taping commercial stuff on the radio, playing D&D in a purple tent in the garden. Memories of that certain bright light that can occur during the Scandinavian summers, those warm days when the skies are foggy. Long windswept grass and a very peculiar feeling of utter boredom. Arguably, Blod has never sounded more Blod than on this track, this is the very essence of the man's work right here. The progamm continues on side B with the solemn piano piece 'Lust', another saxophone rager and then the flipside's centrepiece 'Tro, Hopp & Kärlek' which pretty much mirrors the title track in it's larger-than-life scope and pure beauty.

The Jaffa Kid joins the Cold Blow roster with a marvelous self-titled EP of hard-hitting, atmospheric techno and ethereal braindance. These analogue productions will undoubtedly evoke nostalgia in the fans of the styles’ formative years, accentuated by the warm and crisp mastering by the legendary Ed DMX. This is a record for the clubs and the armchairs alike.

The third vinyl release of Loser Records comes in form of a happy-hands-up collaboration between label co-founder Michal Zietara and all beloved multi talent Kid Simius. Peak Time EP is full of positive energy and summer vibes, consisting out of three tracks by the duo and a mind blowing remix of Smallville‘s Julius Steinhoff.

Once Michal Zietara and Kid Simius met for the first time, they immediately found themselves on the same wavelength and there was no going back. Straight away, within their first studio session together the first track came to life in a playful manner that can be felt throughout the whole EP. One can sense the longing of two of Berlin’s favourite sunny boys for spending time together with friends on the dance floor, when listening to „peak time“ and „get together“.

Smallville’s Julius Steinhoff rounds up the release with, an emotional and exceptional remix for „peak time“.

All in all the EP provides the perfect soundtrack for celebrating life together on dance floors across Europe this summer.

Changes’ is the second EP from Sydney producer Morgan Huggins, a very spiritual sequel to 2021’s ‘Anzac Bridge Filter’. Co-head of local community, event, radio show & label Lovejoy, Morgan’s production is an extension of the moments he experiences both within music & in his life apart from it. Morgan created ‘Changes’ in a period of great flux in his life. Moving between cities he’s called home for the majority of his life, out of homes that had great impact on him, and preparing to leave it all behind in pursuit of a journey across Australia, ‘Changes’ embodies a nervous excitement that we all feel in the most momentous occasions of our lives.

Danny Corten and Youri Parker head up our next 12” vinyl adventure on Bonzai Records with a duo of pumping tracks to get the floors rocking on Love Is An Ocean. Danny Corten aka Danny C is a Belgian DJ and producer with a plethora of releases under various labels. He and Youri have been collaborating in the studio for many Years, and he formed part of the Cherry Moon Trax collective. His DJ skills took him all over the world, performing in top spots with top rated DJ’s. Producing music has been somewhat of a success for Danny, his track, I Want You, climbed high in the Belgian charts with the follow-up, In My Mind, soared in the French charts. His tracks have also gained solid support amongst his peers, and he continues to churn out only the finest quality sounds. Youri Parker was influenced by the early 90’s rave and house music sounds. He started to spin vinyl in 1992 and soon after he gained a residency in the legendary Cherry Moon club, where he would stay for over a decade. During this time, he spun alongside some of the world’s most famous jocks and he also joined the mighty Cherry Moon Trax, which consisted of some of the biggest names in Belgium. He has produced a raft of track with many different artists, most of which got picked up and championed by the likes of Carl Cox, Tiesto, Sven Vath, Jeff Mills and more.

Love Is An Ocean gets the floor moving right from the off as heavy beats, spritely percussions and teasing acid flavours lay the foundation. The track builds nicely alongside ethereal vox and airy pads before a mighty, gritty synth line takes control for the duration. Pure pumping adrenaline that does not disappoint. First released in 2020, Reactivate proved popular and so getting cut to vinyl was a no-brainer. The track dishes out an upfront groove filled with energy and drive, with the intro boasting classic rave stabs and a teasing, underlying 303 lines. A short build up takes us to thumping kicks which ramp up the energy levels to critical mass. The main break imposes an infectious hook which, when coupled with the kick drums, unleashes a pounding groove straight to the pleasure receptors. The track oozes retro charm with a contemporary structure, something that will delight the crowds no doubt.

Our next mixtape features a superb, tight blend of some of the very best tracks to fly out of the speakers at the Cherry Moon Club. At the helm we have DJ Ghost, spinning the grooves to take us on a journey through the ages, through the genres, from twisted acid concepts to hypnotic trance and gut busting hardcore. Ghost aka Bjorn Wendelen has been a stalwart for us at Bonzai since the very early days. He’s delivered several cuts for us over the years and has branched out with his own Ghoststyle brand with great success. The famous Cherry Moon was and remains one of the biggest names in Belgian club-life, with 30 years of embracing club culture. Since the start in 1991, they have brought the best techno, hard-trance and house to the scene. During the 90's and early 00's, Cherry Moon was the place to be for clubbers from all over Belgium, France, the Netherlands and even other European countries. Housed on classic K7 tape, this comp features a host of tracks from the likes of DJ Ghost, Insider, Body-Shock, DJ Looney Tune, Jones & Stephenson, Push, Blue Alphabet, Final Analysis, Joyrider, Dreamland and more. So, dust off your vintage cassette machine and prepare to be blown away by the sound of Cherry Moon.

Back in 2021, when Volodymyr Gnatenko agreed to work on his debut album, none of us could have predicted it would be released, post-pandemic, against the backdrop of war. At the time, the 23-year-old producer from Lutsk was riding high on a string of well-received 12s for labels such as Where We Met and Animals On Psychedelics, besides local Ukraine labels such as LSS557 and Rhythm Buro. He was, between covid closures, playing live at Kyiv clubs such as Closer and Kureni, looking to tour in Europe, and spending every spare second making music.

How things change. When missiles began to rain on Kyiv, Gnatenko, alongside a few friends from Closer, hid in his studio. For a while, the bombings did not stop. But for the producer, neither did the music-making. Choosing to stay in the city, he continues to make beats, managing only to mix down between bombing raids. He changed his first name to match that of his president, ditching the previous spelling of his name because it was the same as the aggressor, “[the same as] my worst enemy, I am ashamed and disgusted that I started my career with it”.

The album speaks of softer, easier times. A combination of rich ambience, and laidback breaks alongside loose progressive and trance-fused dancefloor tracks, this debut brings together all the strands that Gnatenko plays with. The process, he says, was exhausting and long. Yet the results are lighter, fresher. Maybe because, he says, “it is dedicated to my future wife. All the tracks are my words of love for her". Deeply hypnotic and freely moving between ideas, it feels like it was made a lifetime ago, not a matter of months. Now, it resonates with a new defiance. It is a debut with an extra layer of meaning.

In a vitriolic environment, the box pushing and the arpeggiator rages violently. This is Egg and this is the sound of interstellar wars. A angry, dreamy mix of acid heavily influenced by sci-fi comics and psychedelia.

On May 20th On Rotation returns for their first VA release - Genetic Memories Vol. 1. Anderson opens the release with the mystical ‘Polymorphic Magic’ - a low-slung builder combining deep synths with sampled instrumentation.
“I’m a huge fan of self resonating / overtone instruments so using the Fujara was a no brainer. A naturally psychedelic sounding instrument, I wanted to accompany the flutey pipe with a deeper and low-mid tempo chug.” - Anderson. Next up is Musty Head Records main man Jamie Leather - combining the tight drums and skilful melodic work of his previous releases with all the influences we love, ‘Discovery’ is sure to get any party going. Leading the B-Side of the record is Ed Hodge's ‘Atreides’ - a tough yet playful banger drawing influences from across the spectrum of UK music. Gun fingers guaranteed! “It’s probably the fastest, rowdiest track I’ve made under the Ed Hodge moniker and pulls influences from house, trance and speed garage.” - Ed Closing the release, we speed things up and travel deep into the past with Phazma's ‘Arrakeen’. Featuring ethereal synths, driving rhythms and beefy low end, this floaty number works just as well at home as in the club - a perfect way to round off the EP!

Newly minted Berlin label Bulging Discs begins with a bang, with their first physical release from Novocastrian turned Berliner Okayokayokay. On the Zonts, is an introspective journey through a blend of nostalgic sounds from breakbeat, electro, garage, house and trance. While contrasting these eclectic and disparate influences via unexpected twists and turns, Okayokayokay uses these reference points to create something distinctly futuristic.

‘Werk My Body’ is a swirl of feminine energy, empowered vocals blending with hardcore breaks and hyper bass, a four four switch warping temporally before the track drops again. Local Group return the remix favour from their own recent EP, slowing ’Werk My Body’ to a 140 emo-banger, trance melodies sandwiching a proggy mid-section, the bass bumping throughout.

‘R u Ready’ keeps the NRG and BPMs high, breakbeats rolling over booming sub and dubbed out rave stabs, the sexual charge of the female ragga vocal frank and unashamed. ‘Re4mat’ signs off, the hallowed B2. Drawing on rave anthems of the past, it looks boldly to the future.

2020, a year that will be forever engraved in our memories as Year One of the Covid debacle. So much has already been said about it that we feel there is no need for more. However, 2020 was also the year when we’ve released Tapan’s remix to Decha’s song Niebla from her sold-out debut album Hielo Boca as part of Mt0028 Decha - Hielo Boca Remixes. This remix led to a fresh collaboration between the Serbian duo and the German vocalist, which in time bred a brand new track, titled simply Twenty. On Twenty, Tapan’s massive bass lines, heavy kicks and their sense for drama and epicness, meets Viktoria Wehrmeister aka Decha’s soft poetic lyrics and tribal style. The result is a massive slow yet heavy tribal industrial track for the alternative dance floors and late night situations in dark dark basements. The record is comprised of 4 tracks, an original version and a beatless version as well as a deep and trippy dancehall interpretation by our favourite remixers Full Circle (aka Joakim & Alexis Le-Tan) and a punky mid-tempo banger by Mexican maestro and total inspiration Rebolledo who gives his signature sonic attitude to his interpretation of the original track.

In the words of Jerzy Mączyński, Sariani is a musical meditation exploring Indian musical culture and the widely understood concept of trance. The album has its roots in Mączyński’s growing friendship with Waclaw Zimpel, a fellow Polish avant-garde musician with experience in both experimental jazz and meditative ambient music. The pair first connected online during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, with Mączyński suggesting they join forces on an album-length collaborative project a few months later. Sariani was recorded over the course of eight months at two different studios in their home city of Warsaw (one of which included access to an empty swimming pool, whose unique acoustics were utilised during the recording). Both composers recorded electronic textures, loops, and rhythms, onto which they added saxophone (Mączyński) and voice textures courtesy of fellow Polish musicians Wiktoria Jakubowska and Olga Koziel. The album comprises six separate musical stories, each of which was inspired either by a specific “empirical experience” from Mączyński’s travels in India, or wider cultural themes relevant to the country in the 21st century. These include Mączyński’s first encounter with the Book of Rag (‘Raga or Raga’); the essence of spirituality within temple buildings (‘Temple of Jetsu’); a vivid dream featuring a superhero who calls for reflection on equality and freedom (‘Sariani’); and a life-changing trip to Mount Everest with guitarist Szymon Wójcik (‘Everest Inn’, which features recordings made by the pair at the Monkey Temple in Kathmandu).

Impressions cast from lyric and rhythm – desire in movement, now articulated and set forth. Meaning arises between attention and action. In darkness what is it? Air is breath, like light through crystal; it’s truth and sacred geometry. A version like ancient stone - the sample shows in layers, solid time. Compressed life. Pages packed together and seen from the edge, razor sharp and two dimensional. We are the salt we become, our children and ancestors. All at once, being forever; a verse, then volume and tome. But we slow, dragging like ploughs tilling clay. The physical is a language like memory – translated into real. Turn from backwards to parallel, watch it reduce; remember downstream. The rock, earth and salt, our real reconfigured. Type peels away, turning to sand in the wash. Disordering disorder - now still. Translation becomes everything, set sequence and entropy. Whole, to node, to nothing, and all. Not new, just another. Vector Trancer’s journey continues; re-emerging into the central stream, deep dub glows and woven polyrhythm conjure vital knowledge for protection and expression. Viridis Mantra and outer canopy steam, we’re brought tense rhythm experiments and biospheric reverb – see further excursions in atmos and shades from Touch, Fax, Geometrik, or Ed Handley on a dark one.

With his third EP, THROUGH, Mexican musician Pablo Pina, best known as Sainte Vie, plunges deeper into
music’s power to evoke emotions and make memories come to life. Both tracks that make up the EP are highenergy,
innovative soundscapes. In Heart, a syncopated kick groove and filtered drum roll, accompanied by
unusual synth arpeggios create an ethereal atmosphere that is completed by a ghostly vocal recitation of a
mystical poem. The unorthodox chord progression in Phantom establishes a mysterious, eerie mood until a
synth with an LFO emulating an emotional vocal propels the track into catharsis at the break of the song.
Sainte Vie's masterful blending of melancholia and euphoria simultaneously manifests the excitement of a live
set and the deep thoughtfulness of meditation.

Kölsch totally redefines the original with his remix. It is pretty rare that a remix is a completely different kind of track - a different aesthetic - but Kölsch does so - and that’s great! With his version of „numbers“, which is taken from Douglas Greeds album „angst“, he creates a whole new world around the voice by ODD Beholder. While Douglas Greed put it into a room of Indietronic Kölschlifts it up the Dancefloor and raises his Prime Time Fist.
