Gone from his first ever set to international gigs & festivals, receiving support from the likes of Dixon & Tycho, and amassing millions of plays online over the space of little more than a year, Aleksandir has definitely had a good year. Following his acclaimed Yamaha EP and Contrails LP, the Artesian Sounds boss releases his first EP on the label.
Aleksandir turns towards a darker mood on ARS003, which contains some of his most club-friendly & high-bpm tunes to date. Having received a wide range of early support (Maxxi Soundsystem, Seb Wildblood, Nachtbraker, Matt Karmil, object blue, Kiasmos), BBC 6 airplay, and forthcoming promotional coverage on Mixmag, Houseum, Bolting Bits & Delicieuse Musique, ARS003 is off to a good start. Moving away from the naivety of his previous sounds and incorporating a range of newly found inspirations into his soundscape, ARS003 contains some of Aleksandir's most high-bpm, club-friendly tracks to date.
Aleksandir will be on tour leading up to and during the release of ARS003, confirmed dates include Berlin, Bucharest, Paris, Istanbul, MS Dockville Festival Hamburg, Toronto, Quebec City & Piknic Elektronik Montreal.
