Binsy Binsy

Miriam Bordoni aka Binsy is a talented and unknown Italian composer who, in the seventies, wrote soundtracks with Morricone, Egisto Macchi and others for the series 'Risonanze' (Edizioni Paoline) and recorded tracks for historical labels such as Panda Records and Ellecci. Finally, for Phonotype Record, he gave to the press 2 solo albums that are truly unobtainable today.
"Binsy", album of the same name, is one of these. Made in July 1975, it’s a fascinating electrolibrary / industrial record, which is quite clearly divided into two parts. The side A is more melodic side and with library recalls. The second part, with a clearer experimental accent, made of loops of sounds and industrial noises.
Among the best pieces, "Dinamica", a synthetic march with a pounding rhythm and puffs of machines; "Miraggio", melancholic electrobossanova; "Ricerca Chimica", dominated by strident and throbbing echoes of moog. Absolutely to be discovered.
