Chicago Flotation Device follow up last year's brutal Untitled acid excursions with a lighter but still pounding 12" on their self-titled, self-released imprint. 'Higher' is an extended peak-time acid jam, culled from hours of scissor-sythed outtake tapes and 3rd floor studio sessions, distilled into one bubbling, screeching banger. 'Untitled 9' is a subtler take on the CFD sound. A clean 808-led, floating Juno jam that drifts undetected in the dark waters off Scarborough bay.
