Lugnut Brand Records is extremely happy to bring you this tribute to Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. Originally from The Sharon Jones album of the same name, 100 Days, 100 Nights as done by Kansas City’s Chris Hazelton’s Boogaloo 7 is no joke. Listen carefully and you could almost hear Sharon Jones singing through Hazelton’s Hammond Organ with all of that great depth and soul you’d expect of this combo. Rounded out by his Boogaloo 7, this tribute has no choice but to shine. To paraphrase Jamison Harvey AKA DJ Prestige (who wrote the liner notes for the Sunflower Soul release, The Basement Beat).
