Daniel Kyo Rotten City Trax #01

We are very pleased to introduce to you the new Rotten City Trax series that comes with the
passion to offer tracks 100% orientated to the dance floor with the flavor of the analog
raw & basic productions of the early nineties. Focusing mainly on dry techno with strong
Chicago and Detroit roots, there will be room for European sounds that created school as
the Belgian or the "Bleep" and "Acid" from the North of England. The references consist of
a limited edition of 100 copies on 12" vinyl with only two cuts of the same artist on each
side at 45 rpm and printed by hand. No remixes! All killer, no filler!
This first reference is produced by the Spanish Daniel Kyo who after releasing on
Bordello A Parigi, Lovemok or Nitsa Traxx, comes to Rotten City to give us two powerful
retro and analog techno tracks for our delight on the dance floor.
Both ideas for the tracks came to Daniel when he was more into the early 90s mood.
"Next to me" on the A side is quite influenced by the first Plus 8 releases while
"Inorganic Beings" on the B side, shows us his big interest in European labels from
around that time too and specially the well known "sound of Belgium" and labels like the
legendary R&S.
